  • Featuring a drop deck platform, see how easy it is to load a bunch of light weight trolleys with different wheel sizes. Here we had some fun showing how effortless it is to move anything within the size and weight constraints of the trailer. To see more videos including motorcycles visit www.rampless.net

    I like the idea of the drop deck, but uncoupling from the tow rig wouldn't be for me.

    What did you use for your hinge( pivot point) on the rear of the trailer?

    Why not just get a competitors trailer with a tongue that pivots so you don't have to unhook it.
    😂 What a concept.

    I will build this trailer almost any size for cheap and fast.Use single or double axle wheels with steel blades or air suspention quite easy.

      In Australia safety and public liability is important. So if you build for yourself, even a bucket on wheels will do. If someone gets hurt, because of it, you'll pay for the rest of your life.

      @@Ramplessnet-nx4khDefinitely not even close to a 100#. You see how he moved those boxes & how it rolled on & off the deck.

    The obvious issue with this design is that you have to disconnect the trailer from the truck. Why would you want to do that? Not all places are going to be flat....you have to worry about trailer rolling......simply use a ramp.

    • @jefflevin4767
      @jefflevin4767 6 лет назад +1

      nacra60na This is only an issue if you plan to load and unload all day. The trailer is that light that uncoupling and moving the trailer by hand is pretty easy. Visit www.rampless.net for the new model from 2M SporTrailerS.

      Not always possible to use a ramp on your own if you have a big bike or a small build.
      A chock the size of a pack of cigarettes is all you need on a steep incline.
      Obviously the trailer wouldn't roll with the platform down.

      Именно об это Я его спросил.
      А ОН меня отправил на сайт, типа смотри там.
      А на ихнем сайте НЕТУ ответа на этот вопрос.
      Там есть другие модели прицепов, которые не надо отцеплять при загрузке.
      А как цеплять ЭТОТ прицеп? Загадка!

    Seems like a lot of work to get off loaded and off loaded, just install a ramp and be done with it it's more practical

    Как его цеплять к машине, когда он гружёный?

      Controversial decision. As it clings to the car when he was laden? Google Translate??

      Спасибо за перевод.
      О существовании Google Translate мне известно.
      Вопрос был в другом.
      *Как конкретно ЭТОТ прицеп цеплять к машине, когда он гружёный?*
      *Именно ЭТОТ прицеп?*
      У ЭТОГО прицепа чтобы опустить платформу *нужно отцепить фаркоп!*
      Как потом ЕГО цеплять к автомобилю?

    No good because of heavy in front of engine in small car for human lift latch from ball . It don’t have brake when drop trailer it will roll back . This not safe trailer

    • @brianhaygood183
      @brianhaygood183 3 года назад

      You don't have to lift the load. You can get the front of the deck on the ground with it still attached to the towing vehicle, then disconnect it. At that point, like at 1:51 of this video, he's holding the tongue of the trailer down with one hand as the tail is lowered onto the ground. They didn't demonstrate doing it that way, but there is definitely a point at which the ball would change from a downward load due to the weight on the deck to an upward load as the rear comes down. So, the winch takes care of all of that.

      Ever heard of wheel chocks?

  • @ceciliachan4361
    @ceciliachan4361 3 года назад +1

    Lol. This will never work with anything heavy. Once you unhitch, your heavy object will go flying. I haul vending machines for a living. I’ve never seen something so crazy that you actually take the trailer off the ball..

      Ever heard of wheel chocks and tongue jacks? Critical think, much?

    • @brianhaygood183
      @brianhaygood183 2 года назад

      All you have to do is let the winch lower the front of the deck before unhooking the ball. The front of the deck will hit the ground and won't roll. If you were on a slope, then chocks would add extra protection. As you loosen the winch, there will always be an equilibrium position at which the tongue weight is zero (between pulling the tongue down and the tongue rising up), so it is never going to be hard to get it reconnected, even with the trailer fully loaded. Honestly, this isn't even the best variant on this kind of design I've seen, but it would work fine.
