- This is Day #2 of Painting a Mobile Home that is a kind of a Brown and the customer wants Green! This is going to be a crazy transformation using our new Avanti Paint Sprayer from Harbor Freight. Today we will finally be Spray Painting. This is being shot like a vlog series so everyone can get an idea of what goes into DIY projects like these.

Nice work. I wouldn't run water through your tip like that supposedly it wears em out faster. With a production tip maybe not such a big deal but with the 60 dollar ff LP or LP I really wouldn't do it.

Hi, great video. But is there a reason why you used a Graco tip and not one from Harbor Freight? Im thinking of painting my house with the Avanti sprayer.

Is that first burst of pressure when engaging the trigger problematic? Do comparable airless sprayers like the Graco X7 do the same thing?
Really Nice Video! Between 1:20 - 1:32 in the video I noticed that you put on a Graco 515 spray tip. Are all Graco spray tips compatible with the Avanti Sprayer or just some?
Not sure, good question. I’d hope they’re all compatible.
The black Graco tips are compatible with the Avanti tip guard which is like the Orange Graco tip guard. The black Graco tips are very common.
did you have to thin down the paint with anything. it wasn't too thick coming out of the sprayer.
Nope, not too thick. The heat would dry the paint quickly. Most paint doesn’t have to be thinned, the sprayer can handle it

How many 5 gallon bof paint would it take to paint a 1900 square foot house
2 five gallons - 10 gallons total should do it, you might have to pick up a gallon or two depending on how you spray or roll
Did you use water based paint or latex? I noticed you didn’t have to dilute the paint
Hey. Latex is just a fancy name for Water-Based Paint. Same thing! Yes, we used latex (water based paint).

What type and size is your Whip Hose?
Is your whip hose from Graco like the spray tip?
next time u prime ur rig take ur guard and tip off a nd let it prime directly... otherwise your gonna wear ur tip out i n no time and ur pump running to hard.

We’ll worth it. It works amazing, if you are a full time painter maybe go with the more expensive version of this sprayer from harbor freight
