  • The results are in: 370 WHP/337 WTQ @ 7 PSI!
This is a 63 WHP gain and a 88 WTQ gain over previous measurements with the supercharger installed using the same boost pressure!
Turbo systems can be purchased here:

Outstanding results. I have 6sp manual and 5:13 gears on 37’s wouldn’t mind the extra oomph, especially when I’m towing the wife’s heavy a$$ trailer to the camp sites 😂

So RIPP is a belt-driven Turbo marketed as a supercharger. Run one with an Edelbrock twin-screw. I am betting the high RPM WHP will be lower but there will be little to no boost curve, right? What about cam mods for the VVT? Does Prodigy have anything like that? I know the cost for these mods would still be 1/3 or 1/4 the cost of say a Dodge Hellcat or Demon swap so its still the best bang for your buck.

It would be interesting to compare against the RIPP XL system that peaks at ~13 psi due to the altitude pulley, the bigger IC and the improved piping between the IC and the TB

This was a great chance for an apples to apples comparison @ 7 PSI. I can tell you our kit made 436 whp @ 12 PSI in our little red 2 door you'll see in older videos. No need to purchase any "XL" upgrade, just a simple wastegate spring change. Based on our testing, however, the internal components in the motor start to fail around that 12-13 PSI range, which is why I imagine we sell a lot of our forged internal components to RIPP guys. We highly recommend doing those forged internals if you were seeking higher boost levels no matter what kit you've decided to go with.

Would you guys ever make a kit for the 3.6 chargers and challengers?

Justin Shauf Kit has been made buddy, hopefully it will be ready for sale later this year! Look forward to twin turbos and big power!🤙

Would this system also work with the 2015 grand cherokee 3.6?? I thought they were the same motor correct?

Yes they are the same motor but the pipes would need to be routed differently. GC is in the future plans!

I'm curious to how this stacks up against the Magnuson and Edelbrock SCs which use a different design.

Can't defeat Physics, Supercharger is still parasitic to create boost Psi vs Psi against a Turbo that uses normally wasted energy in the exhaust

Awesome comparison. Would you still get similar results with 35s and 4.56 gears on a 6 speed jku 3.6. I heard higher gearing might be a disadvantage when it comes to a turbo?

    • @ProdigyPerformance
      @ProdigyPerformance  5 лет назад +3

Thank you! You may have a quicker 0-60 time with your setup, but would have a much higher resting RPM on the highway. Horsepower should be the same, but based on what we've seen on other JK's we've pre-dyno'd, the factory motor puts out anywhere between 195-220 hp to the wheels on average. So depending on what your baseline was would determine total horsepower gain. We did a very similiar jeep to this one except manual and 37's with 4.10s and netted the exact same 0-60 time of 6.6...if that means anything.

@@ProdigyPerformance that's rather impressive for 37s and 4.56 gears. Now if only it didn't cost the same as another car.

Judging by how many people seem to have blown their motors with this kit, that’s probably needed

    • @obsessivegarage921

It already has a turbo on it. That's a tiny 4 cylinder. It'll never make more power than a 3.6 with the same turbo unfortunately.

Shows how much internal parasitic losses a supercharger system has. They're all freed with a Turbo system that doesn't have parasitic losses.
