I love the big fella’s work. He’s doing pretty well. I defy any of our skinny buggers to do what Ray does while carrying 30-40kg on their shoulders. Great vid.
You look like a bigger dude like myself. I'm 6'2" 350. Any issues with tuning the PDS rear shock. I'm looking to upgrade from my XR650R and trying to decide between this and a husky FE501.
Got a 2017 EXC 500 and have the LEXX muffler coming. It has a JD Jetting injection tuner on it. Anybody know what the best setting for that is? I hate the sound of the stock muffler. Hope it sounds more racy now.
Great video, I just bought the same bike and I bought a lot or the part from you previous video about the FE501, I was 1 week too early!. I can't seem to find the springs for the 500 EXC from racetech, are they available on the website?
Im not sure how much he paid but I've got the 2012 500 xcw. Nearly 300 hours on her and never once been let down. Never cracked the motor, never a squeal or puff of smoke and valves always within spec. Granted if things do go wrong you likely to pay a bit more but that's a big if.
If I put a slip on or full system exhaust will I have to flash the ecu or put another ecu on I heard the ecu is locked so what is the proper thing to do

I get around 90 on mine but i'm a heavier rider. I learned one thing you better hit the gas station immediately if that gas light comes on or you will be stranded. Happened to me twice now.
Dam bruh! you must have spent 5g's on upgrades. I also have a 2018 KTM 500excf. All I did was swap out the two trashy tires and added a skid plate. thats all y'all need.
Aluminium back sprocket bad idea. Get the supersprox one. Also why would you take one clutch cover, remove it and put another alloy one one. Just install a carbon fiber clutch cover or similar. Too much product placement, not enough advice.
@Mike Lyons Aluminum sprockets curl over in one ride on big bikes. If not, you are either too soft or riding a 250. Its a lot cheaper to buy a plastic cover than a new engine case. Also maintains your resale instead of selling a scratched up one.
As a big guy looking at a 500 I was concerned. I am not anymore. Thanks so much for the video and the humor!
What are you doing to control fueling after adding the exhaust and opening the airbox?
Big dude, still riding. Awsome man
Ray's the man. He certaintly knows how to make a sweet Bike Build. Thanks for watching!

Damn that bike looks good man
This bike is very well built with cool stuff and accessories! Surely very fonctional and fun to ride!
Thank you and glad you enjoyed it!
How’s this bike do in the Drive Thru? Sorry, I just had to. Nice bike

I am 6'0" and 320. Got my bike set up for my weight through Slavens Racing. He builds suspension parts to your weight requirements.
Beauty to look..yes,personalization..

Cause of you, I just spent 600$ on cool stuff from Rocky Mountain :)
Love my xl80 light... instant daylight
Quality videos thank you
Thanks for the positive feedback and for watching!
If you are going to ride 100 miles or just over that, the stock tank works fine :) - Keep riding man!

Awesome. Thank you.
Is that the 3.0 or 4.1 gallon Acerbis tank shown in the video?
Which flex bars options did you choose?
Any issues with flame out on your bike?
What size of rear sprocket you put on the bike?
Raymond Butts that's a very nice bike indeed. Great job!!! 🍻 Do u know the total $$? And how is the maintainance on a 4 stroker? I'm used to 2smokers.

Hopefully you figured it,out now... but I used ktmandhuskyparts
Did you put on a vortex or jd tuner to account for lean engine condtion? Esp with the pipe and intake reed removal!!??
91CR250 - ummm, it’s a 4 stroke so no reed valve

great video.
Thanks *Joe!*
You show the tusk billet rear brake guard, but on your website, it doesn't show it fitting the 500EXC. Does it fit or no?
Dang, good catch! We didn't have it attached to that bike. But we're working on it now. Thanks, Andybj.
awesome bike hi from baja california.
Saludos *Carlos!*
Hello from Las Vegas ! Wanted to know what mirrors you are running, please send me a link. Thank you

Thanks for watching!

You can check it out now. This is fixed: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/902/19536/Lexx-MXe-Slip-On-Silencer-With-Mid-Pipe
If I make this a supermoto and ride it in the street regularly will 15 hour oil changes be necessary?
We'd still recommend every 15 hours. Street, dirt, it's all the same.
Rocky Mountain ATV MC Ok cool, I’ll probably do it at every 10 just to be safe
Wow ! I’ll bet he’s got half the cost of the bike itself just in accessories. I wish I weren’t so poor lol 😝
Nice bike !
So the stock fuel tank is not even good for 100 miles?
I get around 90 on mine but i'm a heavier rider. I learned one thing you better hit the gas station immediately if that gas light comes on or you will be stranded. Happened to me twice now.
Hi Ray from Rocky Mountain ATV.MC. That's a long name

Your chain is too tight!
Think how well it would be if you lost some weight. You not the bike
Always has to be one! You know what you are respond and show me...
