  • After riding KTM 350 EXC-F street legal dirt bike I came to the conclusion that I cant call it a Dual Sport. Check out the video and let me know if you agree. Cheers!

    Depends on where you live and the type of riding you choose. My 2023 350 EXC-F is the best dual sport bike for my riding style. My favorite trails are 10 minutes from my garage. So no need for a truck to haul my bike to the trails. When I feel like a longer ride to trails that are an hour away, I install a Mosko Moto setup to store camera, tripod, extra fuel, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. The bike is very light, has incredible suspension, and with a GET ECU, exhaust mods, and reed removal from the air box, the bike performs like my 2015 500 EXC, so from my perspective the 350 EXC-F is the perfect dual sport bike.

    23 350excf.....my 2nd
    Mid 50s rider....considered a very good intermediate rider.....singletrack is where this bike lives.
    Uncorked,desmog,stiffer springs,get ecu,exhaust......this bike is a complete beast now.
    Expensive.....oh yes but probably my last dirt bike so I did it up.
    10 minutes from a motocross/off road track....so no need to load up on truck unless I'm heading to mountains.
    Hooligan riding close by too.....being street legal with this off road ability is why I went back to a 350excf.
    It's simply amazing bike now.....and for me well worth the $$.....but that's up to every individual to decide.

    I’m sick of people comparing these and husqvarna bikes to wr250r and crf300l type bikes. Two completely different classes of bike. And then they act like you can upgrade one of those bikes with the money you “save” to make them compete with them lmfao. I went from a wr250r to a fe350 and it’s insane the difference!

    • @JoshSinnott97
      @JoshSinnott97 3 месяца назад

      How often do you need to check valves on your fe350? Genuine question!
      I'm in the market and the low maintenance is the only thing making me consider a crf300L although it's a compromise and definitely not the bike I'd rather be riding. Regular oil changes aren't an issue for me though

    I loved the video. I'm basically a new rider...in my mid fifties and haven't ridden since my teen years. I bought a crf250f to get back into trail riding and then went out and also bought a crf450rl for some dual sporting. I immediately replaced the ECU on the 450 because of the jerkiness that most people complain about. But honestly the 450 still scares me on the trails...at least for now. However, I'm having some buyers remorse that I didn't take a closer look at the KTM 350 EXC-F but I'm seriously considering trading both bikes in for one. It seems like a perfect mix between the two. What are your thoughts? Thanks and I love the channel!!

    My problem is with cost... The base bike is very expensive to start with, then the cost of the mods done to this bike would push it WAY over the top. Like paying $35-40k+ for a new Harley Davidson, then dumping $25-30k more into it for performance upgrades.... Hell yes! this makes for a great video, but in the real world it doesn't seem to make much sense... Seems to me if you're rider that does multiple types of riding then you're better served to have machines made for the types for riding you're doing.
    Then there is the "tire issue".... No matter how much $$ is dumped into a bike to make it capable, the tires will always be an issue. If dirt oriented tires\pressures are used, the performance and mileage will suffer on pavement, if road oriented tires are used then performance and traction off-road will suffer and unfortunately 50/50 tires just suck on either end ...

You can definitely uncork it and keep it a bit low key to look stock and you won’t be borthered. I’m getting a GET EUC and a PinIt end cap and it’ll look completely stock and still have the extra power. I’d get a new pipe but I don’t want to be bothered at my age. Also I have some Motoz Rallz tires and they’re amazing, I’m thinking about getting the Motoz Desert tire for the front once the Rallz goes and just run a Rallz rear and Desert front.
