Can you guys help me on a bike build I have a new 501 still completely stock I want to do basically what you guys did with this bike except I bought mine for also hunting and fishing and going to Alpine Lakes I'm wondering if you guys have any cool mounting ideas for compound bows send luggage ideas

Soooo im lookin at the husky or ktm! I wanna ride hard trails, long distance, maybe few hare scrambles but i also wanna ride on the road to work up the mtns have some fun! Immnot worried abut the money i want to find and all around bike for on and off road! I would get another set of rims with street tires but i wanna know people opinions on these setups! I would do led head lights and cyclops bar mount lights

I purchased the same tusk blinkers... got the all hooked up... now i need to install the relay I purchased from you guys but it came with no instructions or diagram. Could you please point me in the right direction?
I wonder how much power you gain with the opened up air intake, exhaust, and jd jet power surge 6x.
Are the slave master cylinders on these bikes still having issues? I've heard that the reliability of those is in question, I just want to know if its still an issue with the 2020-2021 501's

can you do a bike build on a gasgas enduro gp? :P
If you are riding mainly dirt, just remove all the DOT stuff. You'll save more weight that way
Another awesome video! Just picked up a 2018 FE 501 for myself and plan on doing some of these mods. It looks like you relocated the keyed ignition switch? Any addt'l info on that?
Awesome build, considered the FE501 but I fear it would have a few of the short comings like my Dual Sported WR450F so I’m going with the 701 Enduro next.

Oh no!!! I did that. What a mistake. I just traded for this and have been in heaven. I'm in California so it's better for the lighter bike. Cracked my frame on the 690 . Same bike. Glad to be rid of that rear gas situation. Have fun.
For anyone else thinking this, don’t make the mistake the factory fe501s is on a whole separate level than 450s. Not much I could think of that the fe501s couldn’t do.
Is there a kit to mount the key on the fork?

the linkage drops so far down to do any log hops. even with a skid

Hey do you have the tail light assembly and the small miror in a set? Also would like if you did an install video on those components. I’m sure everyone is ditching stock stuff on ktm also
We do not have the low profile mirror in a set with the enduro lightening kit at this point. But we do have a video on how to install the lightening kit you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/_DoJ7IpImKU/видео.html
The double take trail mirror is a very simple install that just uses zip ties to secure to the handlebars, you can check that out here: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/double-take-trail-mirror-p

I want that for a snowbike with the Yeti kit!
The fe501 and the riot 3 is the sweet spot of snowbike setups in my opinion. Next years new lower kit and belt drive will make it all the better for trail maintenance

FE350 or 501? I’m on the fence. I have to ride 20miles short dist to trails or 50-100 miles to others. I only weigh 148lbs.

What's the highest cruising speed with that 13:50 gear ratio? I've only ever changed the rear a tooth or two.
The lighting problem must be universal on vehicles from the Northern countries. I drive Scania trucks and their normal driving lights are sad. Who needs vision in a 50 tonne vehicle at 100 km/h anyway ???

Love My FE501!!!! I have similar Mod's as well but have taken it up a few notches. I can do everything from Track days to Adventure riding 2 to 5k 95% dirt trips without hesitation. That bike must’ve started as an “s” model. Big difference & should be noted. An FE501 comes with 13/50 gears already installed, is uncorked & mappable-w/o mirrors, lights & crap.
Very nice build. Tossing the dirt star wheels is just wasting money tho. Would be nice to know how much the build costs. My guess is close to what a new bike costs. Ouch!
Avg Murican the 17-19’s don’t have the S suffix. The maps are also locked down in the states now. I added a vortex Ecu to my FE350.
Adam Niswonger thx for the info, didn’t know that. My FE501 is a 2016 model. I was lucky to get it plated in PA so it’s street legal but had to add all the necessary garb to make it possible.

any bar end mirror of amazon, take it off the bar end and mount to the bar itself. I ran the same mirror set up off road
Bicycle shops have those mirrors for $10-20, bar end mount or clamp on bar mount. I had one on my 06 drz409sm, loved it! Used it for 30k without issues
What’s he point of a street legal bike if your gonna do these mods for it?
Its still street legal
He kept all the lights and turn signals.

@@travismarinello2321 considering the rear blinkers flash to the sides of the roads I don’t think they will be legally visible at all. They also said they took out all the air box setup and spark arrestor to boost strictly off-road performance. So I’d put hard air quotes around “still street legal”
@11:21 Where can I buy that little mirror on the left? I need a small mirror like that so I dont break them off. All the aftermarket handlebar mount ones are chinese shit.
