I see some strong athletes do muscle ups where, once they have the pecs above the bar they just magically do the dip without slamming the bar into their chest. The chest doesn't touch the bar at all actually, it makes the transition look smooth af. I still can't do that and I don't understand the trick. For reference you can look at a FitnessFAQ's video he made 7 years ago "Master the Muscle Up" but he doesn't really explain precisely how to do it.
In my opinion the key is weighted pull ups, around 70-90kg for reps and connect this with weighted muscle ups and explosive pull ups. You need exercises to change strength to power.
Idk why but when I pull down, my arms are blocked and I can't get any higher 😢 how do I train my arms to pull doing why balancing before I do arm flexion? Thank you if you answer
@@MichaSchulz hey I think that's the thing! I think I swing too much and I pull too straight, which leads my arms to to be horizontally straight when I try to climb above the bar. Do you know how to pull up in a C motion?
Excellent explained advice!
Thanks for the tips! Another thing when going down, I have trouble reaching the same little swing as you do on the first muscle up
Thanks for the cues! Will try tomorrow!
Very good! Never seen it that way!

It just works for people with the right proportions. They rotate elbows up fast and initiate the dip

Options:
1. too weak too pull high enough
2. you pull up too straight without a small swing
3. you pull too late with too much swing
