    this is gold, i just started calisthenic and want to improve my basic strength, currently BW 64kg & my dip strength is 1x8 (22,5 kg) @8 maybe , and really love the the last rule, its so simple and made me not to think about somehting too far

    My biggest problem is that it felt so wrong to not train RPE 9 or 10. to stop a set and have the feeling that there are some reps left over.

    Im training for weighted pull ups and dips and im a beginner in weighted calisthenics
    Are ring pushups and ring inverted row a decent accessory exercise since they train the same muscles?

    What does it mean 3x8 with rpe 10? 3 sets of 8 reps each. How can i find the weight for rpe 10? Is that the weight with which i can do 10 reps of weighted dips and can't do the 11? Or 50 weighted dips and can't do the 51. Very subjective

      It is a subjective measurement and needs a lot of practice to use. We have a calculator on our website (www.kingofweighted.com) that helps you with the weight estimations.

    What does it mean 3x8 rpe 10?

      @Chris....RPE 7 means you've got 3 reps 'left in the tank'. RPE 9 means you only have 1 rep. He's saying you don't have to max-out on all your heavy sets. Some people like the RPE thing, some think it's too complicated. I dip 25kgs for 6 reps then go bodyweight for 3 sets of 12 reps. Simple.

      @@paulchristie3306 hmm thanks for explaining. You dip 25kg x 6 rep, what is your rpe ? If you do rpe 10 it means you cannot do more than 6 x 25kg right

    Great explanation❤. I have a few questions -
    1. So if I have a program with 3 sessions a week but I wanna make it into 2 sessions due to time constraints, should I increase the rpe of each session and reduce the no. of sessions by one?
    2.The assistance exercises that you mentioned about play the role for hypertrophy right?
    3. Streetlifting involves sessions with technical training like paused dips, deadstop pulls, or chin lock pullups etc. So would you suggest someone to train the technical part in the 1 session and then move to the strength specific rpe 8 or higher stuff in the next session of the week? Or vice versa?
    4. Also what's your opinion on steploading mehod that some people tell about?
    5. In one session you do intense rpe 7 or above. In the next session of the week, how much would the rpe be reduced?

    Would you say, that I can profit from working with rpes when my goal is to raise my dip, pull up and squat 1rm
    1RMs are
    Dip +62kg
    Chin up +40 KG
    Squat 160KG
