NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS... We shouldnt have to be in uniform to get an ounce of human decency from public officials and citizens alike.
That cop being fired is not enough. He should have been charged with assault and misconduct. And for trying to bribe the Army Lieutenant. And the other cop should be fired for letting it happen and not intervening.
Look at the bald obese cop should he be trusted with a gun and badge with this temper? And the punk kid cop who looks like he's 17, how much training does he have?
Two criminals in police uniforms harassing a service member. Completely unacceptable. As well as being dismissed, they should be charged for falsifying their report as well.
This misconduct should have honestly lead to jail time, the police officers had no reason to escalate that much and the treatment of the suspect was abhorent and inhumane.

Imagine the sh*t these guys have gotten away with for years and years. It takes an Army Lieutenant before they actually get called on it... but this is obviously NOT the first person they've illegitimately harassed, assaulted and threatened with false crimes when they've been stood up to.
You’re wrong, he didn’t keep his hands in sight of the officer, he kept both his damn arms all the way out the window! His arms couldn’t have been more in the officer’s sights! In all seriousness, those officer’s actions are complete bs. Based on the Lt’s actions, the cops have zero excuse for the treatment they made that man endure.

@@anonymouswatermelon5202 The thing is that "deescalation" has its place- but its far and few between in terms of realistic situations. Rather, the proper place for deescalation is when dealing with an EDP. Other than that, it rarely works to prevent a use of force.
@@wizzard4063 Well no- not quite: If I want to get you to comply with what I'm asking you to do, there's really only one way to do it, which is to use coercion. Practical Example: "If you don't put your hands behind your back right now and stop resisting, you're going to get pepper sprayed in the face and it will burn." Now, if you continue to resist and act a fool, after being warned- you simply deserve to lie in your own bed of roses. In this case, the individual was given the option to comply with the verbal command to exit the vehicle several times. What's important here is that, for officer safety as well as law enforcement reasons, this is not the proper time nor the place to go on about "your rights" and "keeping the black man down". Rather, if you THINK your so-called "rights" are being violated (which unless you're an attorney, rest assured the law doesn't give you the rights you THINK you have- this is an area where by all means you should do your research and know the actual law as opposed to myth of what the majority of people erroneously THINK the law is), your sole recourse of action is to file a lawsuit. Even if your rights are being violated, it doesn't give you the legal right to resist arrest, to engage in obstruction, etc. because these things are, in and of themselves, crimes without legal exception. The exception is those FEW states (only two states have a law to this effect to my knowledge, Oklahoma being one of them). that explicitly allow a person to use reasonable force, but never deadly force, to terminate "excessive" force- BUT even these states require a person to cease resisting once the excessive force is in fact terminated. The big problem with this is that the force used must actually be excessive, not merely interpreted as such by you- meaning the federal district court had better damn well agree with your position and version of the facts.

Fear is not the job of the police this is despicable
Another day of law enforcement officers practicing the "deescalation" tactics they're trained to uphold.
There are those who believe that if you make a person afraid you can control them. For many it's true. This why police often use fear to gain obedience.
@@deltatrianda-tria8288 In my country policemen training/education etc takes 3 years. Thinking of what and how they work is duty.

Sue them big time. Pepper sprayed, guns aimed point blank, yelled at, threatend of ruuning his career, no sir, they need to be fired and the fine be from their pay check.
Had he followed police orders and not been uncooperative, none of this would've happened. Follow the law, and you won't have problems, I'm not aware of any instance of anyone having anything happen to them while not breaking any laws and cooperating with law enforcement.
@@kungfu3299 but they shouldn't draw guns... Especially to someone who is in uniform
@@AM-jx3zf Actually, according to the law, they should. Your personal wrong opinion does not change hard facts.
Very tinted windows, no tag on your vehicle and driving suspiciously slow are very good reasons to perform a felony stop. According to the law, not to my personal opinion.
@@kungfu3299 but he had the tag. It was visible in the police body cam. And if that was the only reason, why did they need to have guns drawn? Especially when he was in a well lit area?

The tag was very hard to see, I personally was convinced he had no tags when I first watched the video, if you didn't know it's there, you wouldn't see it.
It wasn't the only reason, they also reported that the windows were tinted and that he was driving suspiciously slow.
These facts make it reasonable to make a felony stop. Whether it is in a well-lit area or not does not change the law, the law is the same in the dark as it is during the day.
I would suggest you watch the video before commenting in order to understand the facts.
The fact he tried to bribe the man about not filing a complaint.!!! Clear admission of guilt and he knew he did too much!!!

Military uniform is not special you can buy one at military surplus for $5

Just a comment. The entire thing is horrible.. should have never happened. but.. to this comment the seat belt (shoulder belt) covers the rank on the individual's uniform sometimes.
