I really should play this mod. From what everyone said it’s super good. It’s too bad the guy can’t monetize it. I’d pay money for a good experience. I really like how the guy was able to add in new weapons, cut content, stuff from HL1, and Opposing Force in a way that actually makes sense for the plot. Definitely looks amazing. From what I hear the first Entropy Zero was fun but has it’s flaws. Apparently the guy is thinking about touching up the original using what he’s learned to make it better. I really like how the player character actually has a personality. It definitely helps this mod stand out. With Freeman I just take Freeman’s Mind as canon because it would be funny and Ross Scott was able to make the character seem intelligent. Although, I think we can all agree that Mitchell is the best HL protagonist. I really hope that we can get a HDTF2 purely because that would be one truly hilarious dumpster fire. Just imagine how funny it would be if HL3/Episode 3 had a three way conflict between the Resistance, the Combine, and Mitchell’s child army. I’d pay money for that dumpster fire. To make it better President Keemstar would replace Breen as head of the Combine on earth and would comment on what’s happening throughout the game. I would be floored if that happened😂
Honestly to enjoy EZ2 you dont necessairly neeed to have played EZ1. EZ1 is still a pretty cool mod, some puzzles might be a little tricky and i like the AR2 there, feels like a Light Machine Gun. EZ2 imo its a must play for every HL fan and if you havent yet, do it as soon as possible, I myself regret having played it only in January. Tbh I tried watching Freeman Mind but idk never found it too funny, but I guess those were the vibes during the mid 2000s
Yeah, I’ll definitely have to get around to it. Luckily I already know some stuff about the story so I’d be able to jump into either like I did with HL1 and 2. I remember as a kid I thought that was the funniest thing in the world. Looking back some of the Jones don’t really land. It’s one of those weird things where you have nostalgia for RUclips videos Someone made this Half Life rts mod called Lamba Wars. I think it’s a mod for this game called Alien Swarm. I’m probably getting this wrong. That or it’s a standalone thing that can work on it’s own. The game definitely looks pretty cool. It’s Rebels vs Combine and both have some cool units. I’m not entirely sure what I’d compare it to since I haven’t played a lot of rts games. If you have any interest in rts games you should probably try it.
