Some of my best times ever! Ted cranked out the tunes in 100+ degree heat. One of my favorite guitarists. He and his band are so damn fun, their stage presence adds up to a really fun and fantastic concert!!! Great memories----thank you Uncle Ted!!!!!!!
I believe I attended the loudest concert ever back in the day. The Scorpions followed by AC/DC followed by Ted Nugent. Regained my hearing in about two weeks.
I have seen Ted Multiple times, Ted never disappoints! One of the Best! And I personally think he is the Best of all of the Hard Rock guitarist The pure raw power of Teds sound is amazing.. Keep on Rocking Ted we will see you the next time you come to town..
I saw Ted open an outdoor concert in W. Germany in 1977. He came out on top of his speaker wall, started the opening sequence, and jumped off down onto the stage. It had to have been about ten feet Dow. To the stage. It was an awesome concert.
I. Never 👀 sawTed Nugent live but always have liked his 🎶 🎵 music!! I now follow him on The Nightly Nuge. And joined his followers on You Tube!! He's great, I love his conservative views, and in awe of his hunting talents!! I wish he could have talked My friend Jimi Hendrix out Of doing drugs early on, he and Frank Zappa were the only ones I knew @ that time, that did no drugs ever, Frank, too, reamed Jimi out for doing drugs too.. I have to say, Jimi was trying, he did cut back some. Towards the end of his life, he was going in the right direction. To no avail... Rip Jimi. And thanks Ted, for trying to talk him out of doing drugs. GOD 🙌 🙌 Bless...
no. after 30 years of being a fuckin rockstar it takes a toll to ur vocals. I heard this song on a youtube clip from 5 years ago and they dont sound as PASSIONATE but thats because the wear and tear so its not their fault. but man Ted can still play now better than he did in the past.

Saw Ted in '79 at Tarrant County Convention Center and recognized him as a true force of nature and a living breathing legend of the likes of Buffalo Bill, Geronimo, Patton and George Washington. Met the legend in person in 2007 and despite his age he's super strong, full of energy and a phenomenal axeslinger who can do things others need effects to do. He can actually play slide without a slide and create echoes without a tape echo. Amazing! He gets mistreated by the media because he's protecting our second amendment and pointing out who these leftists are and why we must stop them. God bless the Nuge!!
I saw him at the Cow Palace in San Francisco April 1980 while stationed at Mather AFB, Sacramento. Not only was I the only Black person there, it was the loudest noise I ever heard in my life! He had like 12 Marshall Amps hooked to twin magnetic promp receptors. I've never been to a hard rock concert before--only soul and jazz so my Air Force buddies took me. Boy was I shocked by the energy! I have to hand it to everybody at the concert; they treated me real nice and I truly felt special. Everybody kept asking me if I was OK. I don't like the Ted of today and his crazy politics but I love the Ted of the 70s and early 80s.
i agree, we need to separate the artist and his political views. for example I love Oliver Stone's movies, while I think he is an idiot in his personal life
You can tell they are "self distancing" to minimize the chances of passing on the cat scratch fever. (Posted during the Corona Virus Pandemic of 2020.)
I saw Ted Nugent for $5 for a ticket and $5 for a concert shirt in 1977 or 78 on Lake Michigan in Milwaukee Wisconsin also on the bill where the Scorpions and Blackfoot boy I miss those days!!!!!!!
Just played the riff... Kinda lol. Its envigourating and so much fun, you just cant help but dive right into it! Ted is sooo entertaining with his facial expressions its hillareous at the same time!
I caught Ted in June of '79 in Bay City Michigan at an outdoor venue, don't remember what the place was called. I was 16 and had the time of my life! Rock on Ted.
That might have been at Bay City Central High School. They did a fund-raising concert every year. Ted Nugent, Van Halen and local band by the name of Couture performed one year.
Could. I worked security (which meant I told people where to park their cars) the year VH was on the bill. I never got close to the concert. Worked all day for free and missed the show. Oh well...It made for a good story at The Hidden Hollow for the next couple of weeks.
I saw Ted at the Erie County Fieldhouse around this time. After intermission he started playing some sick feedback off stage and must have hit a trampoline to come flying over his 6' main amps to land on center stage immediately going right into Stranglehold! I've never seen anything like it before or since!
Around the age of ten I was diagnosed with a rare form of C.S.F that attacks your eyes. My vision became blurry in my right eye and I was partially blinded in the left eye. After treatment I could see out of both eyes again, but I have to wear corrective lenses because my eyesight is permanently damaged. Went from 20/20 to horrible vision all because I got a few scratches from my cat.
Fun story, well not so fun for me. Back when I was 7 I had a lump under my neck. Eventually it grew into the size of a tennis ball. For 2 years I got the same diagnosis, cat scratch fever. As you guys can guess, that wasn't it. It was hodgkin's lymphoma. Stage 4b when they finally caught it. Though as you can see I'm fine today, just got a few side effects to deal with. I didn't even realize this was anything but a song back then though.

@Hank Bridges so you think if there's an amp on stage, and cords hooked into guitars that it means there's no lip/play syncing going on? I'm hoping that's not what you're saying because, if so, man are you seriously in the dark about some shit when it comes to live performances. . ESPECIALLY back in the day.
Saw Ted and the Amboy Dukes around 1973 or 1974 at Dex Card's Wild Goose in Schererville, Indiana...memories...

Saw ted back in 1977,& regained my hearing 6 days later, it was awesome
Ted didn't recover the hearing in his left ear, so you're doing pretty good!
Im glad you regained it - I saw Thin Lizzy in 1978 12 rows from the front and I have never heard a thing since!
My ears are still ringing from the Silverdome concert.
Perry Matherne , me too! Lol!
I’ve seen everyone from Metallica to The Who and Ted Nugent was by far the loudest concert I’ve ever heard.
I love how Uncle Ted can sing and chew gum at the same time. There are a lot of people who can't even walk and chew gum simultaneously. :P
It's a trick to keep his mouth and vocal cords moist. Dave Grohl is also known for this
This is playback. It's not live
Lip sync

It was in German TV. I saw it as a 19 years old one. Greetings from Germany : - ) But perhaps it was a different performance.
