I know this is old. I'm just going through New Edge videos as I restore my own and had to say, 9:01 reminds me of the beginning of the opening chase scene in Mad Max when he fires up that Cleveland powered Interceptor and tore down the road. It's pretty close actually.
according to IMBOC (international mustang bullitt owners club) The archive says 723 built in true blue, but I was also told that when ford made the Bullitt certificates, they changed the number to 722.
I recently found a black one on craigslist with 13k miles!! The 2001 Bullit is a beautiful car, the 08 too. My other fave is the Mach 1 grey. Im salivating as I write this.
I mentioned in the video that ford made 722 in blue. Its actually 723 and I knew that before. I just recently read a craigslist ad where the guy said 722 and it was stuck in my mind lol. also i forgot to mention the bullitt specific side scoops.
I miss seeing this car! Had to revisit these videos to bring back the nostalgia. Think the Johnson Brothers will ever have another one in the stable again?
Matthew Todd Schultz I do like the Bullitts. Would need a bigger garage to properly take care of one before I could consider. I especially like the bullitt because my GT I got back was also a 2001. If the DHG Bullitt that started it all goes for sale you could bet my brother would jump on it
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage I stopped by Coughlin Ford in Pataskala on my way home from work last night to pick up some coolant for my 2013 Focus ST and they had 2 2019 Bullitt cars on the lot... although nice I wouldn't dare consider getting one. Especially if it meant getting rid of my 01 DHG. There is something very special about them. These winter months here in Ohio make me appreciate it even more. Although it's under cover till spring watching your videos inspire why I bought mine in the first place. It's one car i will hand down to my boys, and watch them enjoy it for all the same reasons we do. I would definitely consider adding another to my collection, finding a unmolested True Blue one is a difficult task, but I'm confident I will run into one that fits one. Thanks again for all you do Danny I really enjoy watching your channel, everything from cars to Halloween you are truly a genuine individual.
Matthew Todd Schultz Thank you. I appreciate that. I’m not sure if you’ve saw my bother’s video on one we saw and wanted really bad. Super low miles ruclips.net/video/BgIkBrbjTwc/видео.html
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage fingers crossed that one comes up for sale again. Would love to see another Bullitt on the Channel. Low low mileage for sure. I think Justin was spot on with offer, maybe one day paths will cross again and the car that started it all will be part of the already impressive collection. I know when he let the Blue one go it was bitter sweet for him, could actually feel what he felt when I watched him film it being tailored off.
He swapped the entire axle over, but I also have install videos for the 4.10s I installed in my mach 1. I got them from late model restoration Ford Mustang 8.8 Gear Install ruclips.net/p/PLIjr-uSYDZi5fnxxp6D9MO7_QlTzizaUf
Whatsup man, I enjoy all your vids, theyve helped me out on more than 1 occasion. Lol. So, definitely appreciate the content. Ive got an '01 TB, mach 460, with the dark graphite wheels #2884. Just wondering if there were any bullitt communities/groups you would recommend looking into? For knowledge, troubleshooting, parts, etc... Thanks in advance.
That car is awesome!! Great vid alot if info, I just bought a true blue bullitt #4133 yesterday. Does your brothers have the Mach 460? I read only 54 were made true blue with no Mach 460.
Oh and by the way, 54 were built in true blue without the Mach 460 like yours and mine and then half of those were canadian cars sent with the khm gauges and things so we have 1/26 or so that stayed in the usa that are true blue non mach 460 cars. Not sure if that will ever be worth anything but its cool to know
Needs some better wheels or wheel spacers but sweet car I have a sn95 that is a little show car with custom everything that is pretty clean but man must be nice to have 3 mustangs.
Sup bro! sweet ride man! I'm looking into one of these.. number #3890 far as reliability how would you rate it? and is 8k a good price? hope to hear back from ya
ewalka2287 yeah. $8k is good depending on condition and miles. They are very reliable-more than the standard GT since the regular GT's have a plastic intake manifold that cracks

You should get the tmi bullitt seats
Those would be nice. Pretty expensive though. Hard to justify, but would be worth it!
I have the sam ewheel on my 02 gt
Nice bullit also that intake manifold looks like trickflow intake manifold
Shelby supersnake07 It’s actually the stock intake manifold for the bullitt. They used a fr500 intake manifold on the bullitts

Damn this car sounds good! I cant wait to see the update if (when) this thing gets boost. How in the world does he decide what to drive everyday?
nice bullitt i erased the number on the sticker under the hood but i found the other one on the back seat
The stock fuel type for the bullitt is regular unleaded.
Must have a tune
+James Fitzsimmons lol no it doesn't. It's Reg Unleaded out of the factory.

The Bullitt Side Scoops and you're missing the Bullitt mudflap on your driver side D: other than that, nice fkn car dude. #5493
Jacob Amusten what about the Bullitt side scoops? It has them
Scrun Johnson oh I meant he forgot to mention the scoops when he was saying the differences
Jacob Amusten oh, I got ya.
