hmm... was curious about the routing here. overall, pretty safe strats. there's a fair bit of yoloing that can be done selecting the grail and i wonder if indy and henry not getting captured in the castle, giving the fake diary to vogel, and/or shooting down the fighter jets in the biplane are ever faster. i think it has been shown that biff can be defeated while sober, but that seems out of the question in an actual run. curious what a tas of this would look like.
There's definitely a few things that you could just try for, like guessing on the grail. Although, given the fact that there's not a lot of people speedrunning this game, I didn't feel it was worth trying for any of them. Maybe in the future :) You can indeed beat Biff while sober (in fact there's a video of someone here on RUclips doing it), but it's incredibly hard (I attempted it quite a few times outside of runs), and it would not be reliable enough for a run unless you put a ton of practice into it. Altogether, I don't think it's worth it, and won't be unless the popularity of speedrunning this game increases significantly and there's suddenly a lot of competition.
