- Had a lot of runs fail, especially in the plane section, but then I was able to pull off this run. Not perfect, but I'm satisfied with it, and I was able to get the sub-31 time I was looking for.

Man this game had fascinated for hours.
This game was so cool, but also quite frustrating. I feel like the puzzles were quite rough around the edges. I don't believe anyone could figure this out without hints.
When young on dos, i could never beat this. I beat secrets of monkey island, maniac mansion. Never could beat Indiana jones, loom or this. Lucas art games ftw!!

33 minutes is pretty fast. As a 13 year old Amigaowner i think i needed atleast like six months to get to the end 🙂
This game brings back so many great memories of adventure and mystery. Thank you! I think you can shave off some extra seconds in the jungle, by just re-entering the passage you came through?
Thank you for the comment! Unfortunately, no, in the jungles you need to enter a specific number of "new" doors, so any door works, except the one you came in through (with the exception of the very first screen of a jungle). The reason for me stepping back into them in the speedrun is because it's occasionally a little quicker to go back through the door and load a new screen to get a more favorable layout than it would be to walk across the entire screen to the door on the opposite end.
Damn i was so near the end of this game...i was on all locations...played hours...never could have a closer look in stonehenge and repair the crystal parts...give whiskey to sentry AND use fence with wire cutters....argh...

Tried first time to complete as soon as i'am able to. Using ur guide as backup.
Yeah. I "know" the game, but not how to speed run it.
Result was as double time u need. Something about one minute...;o)
But big "time" safer is, that it seems that some keybindings were used to scroll in inv and activate the verbs.
Is that a scummVm Feature?!
I will train hard, maybe one day i reach a time close to urs...:o)

Yes, the keyboard shortcuts are a valuable time save. This game is one of the hardest ones to become good at performing the keyboard shortcuts quickly, because there are spots in the game that require many inputs in a short amount of time.
Of course, I meant one hour, not one minute.... 😜

Why not buy the hat and the „nose‘n‘glasses“ together with the other stuff?
Because they're only needed to escape the Mindbender prison cell. He never got captured, so no need.
