The Paradoxical Realization in the GREATEST Spiritual Story Ever Told

  • The paradoxical realization a sage discovers after enlightenment is the outcome of what happens to all the functions of the mind when one has an unobstructed view of the nature of reality. In this episode of The Sacred Word, I will explain an important verse from the Ashtavakra Gita, a text one is ready to assimilate after enlightenment. The Ashtavakra Gita is for those to absorb oneself in the presence of the Ultimate Reality after awakening.

It was the old personality that kept them from journeying in the first place but a new light shines before them thus that first step into the void was the life changing principle and the previous system of beliefs and models are cast aside and a new set of concepts and theories are adopted suffusing a personality change ~

I am reminded of something I realized and wrote down after a meditation this week; Depression is a Doorway to Divine Discovery. Some of you can relate and understand. Jim Carey interpreted "depressed" as "deep rest" from the character/story of yourself you have bought into & attached to.

Where the verb "embodied" is a metaphor for an experience that cannot be expressed in words. The words, letters, alphabets, numbers and symbols of human languages are not reality; rather, they are man-made illusions and thus are magic and fantasy. All explanations of "enlightenment" in the spirit sense are meaningless. The ultimate answer to the Zen koan, "Who am I?" is stillness and silence.

To comfort it because it felt so afraid in the world and it was always reaching outward. When I went into my true awakened state I floated around for a few weeks seeing that nothing had any purpose. Then I soon realised that I couldn’t live in this state of nothingness and bliss as my time here was to learn the human lessons. I really didn’t want to go back into the school of life but I did and it hit hard. I now live between t he two states of enlightenment and awareness of the ego self. I’m still finding balance because I’m aware that to live in this planet I need the ego state to function.

And then throwing on top of it a confirmed diagnosis for mental disorder (slowly becoming Moon Knight)..what keeps me going along this inner journey is knowing these symptoms are something like outrageous stage fright. And that's the honesty. Isolation from others, if not outright rejection..lack of trusting oneself can claim so much passion. Excellent my dear Jason!
You know , when my kundalini wake in March 18/2012 I was already meditating for many many years.
Although after “she” woke up, from that day , I was shocked by this experience…I was not able to meditate anymore , and 10 years pass Jason and I couldn’t meditate anymore.
I did try many many times, but my mind became like a hurricane.
Very Scary to a point indeed.
Finally this year & to be precise a week a go, I was finally able to return to meditations.
My mind now is very strong, steady.
I have the lucky to received help from Tibetan lamas and this make all
    The difference.
Wake of kundalini is very serious and should be done with responsibility.
The process is different for each one , but there is a tremendous difference to go through to this process in retreats or monasteries or caves, & other thing completely different is go through this process in a world where we call outside (when u have family, daughter/sons and a life to take care of).
And yes, your personality indeed dissolve (in a caos way I would say) until you find yourself again, and when this moment happen you will
    Never be the same again.
The compassion for all living things on this universe became so Cristal
Clear and part of you, solid, beautiful, meaningful.
I would call the real gift 🧡❤️ on this paradox.
    Thank you Jason !

Hi Graca. Your comments were so relevant for my own experience. When kundalini awakening happened to me (after a sudden shock) I don't know how I managed to get through it all. I had no idea what had happened to me and I had to hold down a demanding job in a corporate environment. It was a wild ride and took a long while to settle down. My perception of the world changed overnight and there was no one to talk to about it, all while I was processing grief. But the "boons" of coming through this trial were many. I lost my fear of life and death, gave up day-dreaming, and found joy in just about everything, and I could see life so clearly. I experienced divine love and saw God manifest in this world. I am not the same person now either and I feel I have in fact constructed another kind of personality, but without the limitations I had before. We still have to operate in the world amongst other people, meet our obligations to others and fit into society. Thank you for sharing your experience, Graca. ❤

This energy can be released in more ways than just meditating. Realization is the quickest path in which you go past the ego to a higher state. The problem, as you have seen,
is that the human body is not able to handle these outputs of overwhelming joy-energy. You literally cannot experience any negative emotions in that state when
sustained. It is energy that goes beyond mere emotion. In my case I always end up laughing which I call the "cosmic joke". It rapidly disappates and closes off from there.

You don’t rid yourself of your point of perception at enlightenment. Merging with the one is misunderstood. Reality is nondual. We must view things correctly so we do not create unintentionally imperfect ideals like death and suffering.

The "truth" is like the loving heart it can never find words to explain and say to the beloved how much he/she loves her/him. It stays better in silence in the eternal present moment as if the loving one tells any word to his/her beloved of the amount he/she loves it shall loose all the " TRUTH" and become conditioned, it would become a matter, it would take a form, but the truth is Formless, wordless it can only exist in the Eternal Silence....

We have a higher self that is our baseline. It is that mental part of us that can look at our life, detached from it. It can be hard for some to relocate it within their hurt. But it is there. We emerge not knowing that and we experience life and we judge it as we go along. This fills us with experiences, and we live from those experiences. But they are not who we are. We must find ways to let go of the things we carry, the emotional hurt, as that is the very thing that ruins our lives unless we wake up and figure that out. We have to seek emptiness. Poor in spirit. Clear the mote from our eye. All analogous terms to let this go, because it hurts us. Then we re-emerge into our higher self, enjoying life, not being taken on an out of control ride on the emotional roller coaster. We live feeling free, not obligated.

I have been able to quiet my mind so easily. I could do it for an hour but any longer I find myself in a prophecy state, but have the doubt that comes with such an idea. Until it comes to fruition or comes to light that it was not a dream.
I truly try to learn what this planet in the moment has to offer.. and it teaches me, what I thought I knew, I don't really know and the opposite happens to what is for certain.
It plays tricks and lies. It's a visual illusion, yet in trying to convince it uses pain or what seems to be pain to back the illusion. May it be physically or mentally.

The abyss of nothingness is key and relaxing. Its full of love and connection. Yet the mind likes to question and wonder and wakes the existence and answers. If we ask if there is something else, the mind will answer yet won't fa-fill what a difference it seems until we seek the hill after falling in the valley. But we are always connected to the balance and may always go back.

I think so too. People who live a relaxed life: tend sheep, have routine, boring, repetitive jobs can afford such a state of mind. I cannot imagine, for example, a busy mother or the head of a company being able to live this way. These are people who create and act. I was in this strange state. And what? And nothing. chitta vritti and the bills won't pay themselves 😜 But I've learned one thing: when I look at a sheep staring at me mindlessly: do the same. I won't be ashamed of being alive.

Melting of the mind means you are able to let go with no attachment of any thoughts!! Therefore no creation of any image and follow no desire!! Thus the self is revealed and remain the observer!! The problem is that the observer become one with the observed!! The whole universe seems to come out of the self!! Reality and dream become one!! The self remain only the permanent and therefore the true reality!! Then knowing this ultimate truth you are free from delusion!!!!!

    From an Osho talk.
What did you do in those years immediately after your enlightenment?
It is a difficult question. The first thing was that a great silence, almost unbreakable, followed the experience, as if the mind had stopped functioning. There was nothing to do about it - except to watch. It was difficult for my family, my friends. Obviously, they thought I had gone mad.
My family has always been worried about me, concerned that I’m not following the well-trodden path and I am moving into dangerous experiments; the danger of going mad was easily conceivable.
And when I stopped speaking - it would be better to say that the speaking stopped itself, I was not a partner to it - people would ask questions and I would not even be able to give answers to simple things.
For almost two years, inside it was a tremendous rejoicing. Outside, it became a trouble. The people who thought they were trying to help me were really a nuisance. I should have been left alone to myself. But they were worried that I may go deeper into this madness.
They could also feel that I am not miserable, that I am immensely happy. But mad people ordinarily are happy, are rarely miserable. So that was not against their idea of madness; on the contrary, it was supportive of the idea that something should be done to me.
They were bringing people thought to be wise, and I was really amazed that these people were not even in the category of the commonsense people. They were full of the garbage of the scriptures.
Just one man, a man who was not known to be a wise man, met me in those days - and he was the only sane man in those two years of my silence. He was a strange beggar - strange because he was respected by many people, but he was a beggar. His only possession was simply a small mug. Because of that mug, he was called Magga Baba. People would drop money or food or anything into his mug. And he would not prevent others who wanted to take money from his mug or things that others had dropped into it. He would be as willing to those who wanted to take money out of it…
One of my uncles thought that perhaps this man could be of some help. He was silent, or sometimes he would speak gibberish. You could not understand what he was saying. Nobody could even figure out what language it was; it was no language. He was just like small children when they start speaking for the first time - they go on saying anything, repeating anything.
But the man had some magnetic quality. During the rains he used to lie down at night under the awning just in front of his shop. I had seen him a few times and he had smiled whenever I had seen him - he was not far away from my place. His smile was of great understanding.
And when my uncle thought that it would be good to bring Magga Baba and “see what he does to him,” Magga Baba was brought. His bringing was also a special kind; you could not invite him because he was not on talking terms with anybody. He would not say “yes” or “no.” You simply had to bring a rickshaw and catch hold of him. He would not refuse. At least three times he was stolen, because his followers in other villages simply took him away. They would sit him in a rickshaw - and he was willing, he was not resistant or anything. He enjoyed the ride and he went there. But then hundreds of his followers here missed him.
So my uncle went with a few of his friends and put Magga Baba in a rickshaw and brought him home. He came close to me and whispered in my ear, “This is it. And don’t be worried about these people; they are all mad.” Perhaps this was the first time he had spoken to anybody without any gibberish.
Everybody gathered around. It was a trouble for them to figure it out because Magga Baba would not say what he had whispered, and I was not going to say what he had whispered. But one thing they felt, that Magga Baba was very happy with me. He hugged me and left.
That helped my family and friends: “There may be something we are not understanding” - but others thought that both are mad. “He is an old madman, famous; now he has got another one also.”
But still it was a great solace that there was one man who was able to understand me. And because of his understanding me, I started slowly to speak - because perhaps there may be a few more people who can be helped. Maybe they are just on the verge. But as I began speaking… It came in the same way as silence had come, just as if the whole ocean of silence… and when I started speaking the same was the case with speaking. Suddenly the mind started functioning and I was speaking continuously.
People started coming to me, asking my advice. People started coming to me to lecture in their congregation, in some conference, in some other city. I was discoursing sometimes five times a day, almost the whole day, in different conferences and different meetings, colleges, universities. And my silence was untouched. "

Spirituality is only one aspect of a complete human archetype. A true balanced archetype holds the ability to be material, and order the world. Not to live in endless boundless space, regardless of how many universal truths you may visit in your mind, it does not impact the world the way it is required to shape it for human success.

I listened for about a minute before stopping, why would anyone serious about seeking enlightenment or higher power of reasoning or consciousness be afraid of them changing? The whole part of starting this journey was to seek the change that comes with the paths to a higher self, it should go without saying to anyone on these paths or seeking these paths the fundamental reasoning is to be changed into something. The difference is that we don't have to die because of metamorphosis, just as we are wise in our years as we are beautiful in our young, we don't die we change, just like a caterpillar to a butterfly.

The human body is similar to a battery for conscious projection. It feeds consciousness with experience in order to maintain balance within the cosmos. Every next thought takes power and energy to produce. Though the time seems instantaneous, the process exists eternally external within all that can be known and seen. Information is all there is. We are free to manipulate it all however we wish. The wish of eternal capture is the one that displays an infinitely expansive and indefinite pursuit. Unfulfilled are then the dreams, the scraps of mind forming conclusion to end the pursuit when energy levels are low. Once charged, the search for balance continues. Rising and falling, like waves. The ripples of being reverberate within the walls of universal life, birthing out of it another place and time where that in which had been can again be with us until we've chosen to let go..

Joseph Goldsteins teacher haggled over the cost of a loaf of bread and when asked why he said "enlightenment is about being simple, not being a simpleton".
The mind of an enlightened being is not dull, blank or boring. It is free of all the egoic thoughts and mind states that hold us back. it is wise as it watches all and succumbs to nothing, yet it is open to and welcomes everything.
