I've been searching for the right hexagon pattern to crochet where I can understand the entire process. Your video is the absolute best. Great attention to every detail. Thank you.
I was wanting a warm-looking blanket without the border! Thank you!
It's great to see other people using ch 2 instead of 3 at the beginning of a round. I totally agree with you that it looks a lot neater! Great video xx
Totally agree. Likewise, I use 1 for US hdc, and 3 for US treble.
I am very much a beginner and have watched numerous videos for instruction and this is by far the best tutorial I’ve seen. Thanks for taking the time and for being thorough and informative.
I'm so glad you've found it helpful! Enjoy your hexagons 😊
I have just found you and you are my people. :) I designed my own Hexies in 2019 as I didn't like what was around, I too do a 2 loop magic circle and 2ch start, WOW kindred spirit. :) I dislike seeing a visible join in the rounds and holes in the corners, WOW and you shard this 12 months earlier and I found you 3 years later. :) LOVE!!!!
Fantastic! Wow the hexagons behind you!! 😍 of course I love them both.
That was such a zen experience.
Today I feel a bit under the weather, so I watched you and listened, while in bed.
Your voice is very soothing.
Thank you 😊.
The tips and hints for corners and standing DC stitch have been noted.
I did chuckle because I had thought the corners would be tricky.
Your attention to detail is out of this world. Thanks for the awesome tutorial!
Thank you 😊 I'm so glad you found it helpful! 💜
I can't thank you enough! Never done hexagons before as I didn't like those holes in them. Watching your video also showing join as you go method I will definitely make a blanket the same way as you do. Amazing work! I love this tutorial
I'm teaching myself how to crochet and your instructions are fabulous. I've started this blanket as my first blanket and it's coming out great so far. (of course I'm only about 8 hex's in but so far so good) I was struggling with that magic circle but I finally got it. Your instructions are the best. Thank you so much!
I'm so glad you find it helpful! Enjoy your hexie blanket 😊
@@EarlGreyCrochet I finally finished it. My first blanket done. Thank you so much for your great instructions. I wish I had a way of sending you a few pics?
@@amyanson923 congratulations and great work! I'm on Facebook as Earl Grey Crochet, and instagram as @earlgreycrochet if either of those work for you. You can also email me at elizabeth.earlgreycrochet@gmail.com :)
thank you sooo much. My hexagons are a different pattern. I'm using them for a blanket and didn't know what to do with the edges. You have saved the day. I'm subscribed.😸
THANK YOU FOR YOUR AWESOME PROGRAM.. GOOD TEACHER.. NEVER MADE ONE BEFORE..
STARTING WITH MY NOW. 👌🌹❤️
Hexis behind u...yes! Beauteous-love the colors...
Excellent, searched for a blanket I can use all my leftovers and that’s the blanket I’m making, good explanation, I like this ‚join as you go‘ method. Thanks a lot for this video!
Excellent! Enjoy 😊
Thank you for sharing how to make haxogan I have done it while you teaching you are a good tutorial have a blessed day 😁🇬🇧👌
This is the best tutorial I've ever had the pleasure to follow. Superb, thank you.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the lovely feedback 😊
Great tutorial and a great way to use up all the little bits of yarn ends you hate to throw away thank you 😊 x
Loved this tutorial about joining the hexagons. Very well explained, thanks!
Love it :)
I do 2 chain and do not count it as a dc
With doing the 2 chain it has no gap
Never seen a magic ring done that way
So good, thank you for such a well explained tutorial.
Ive been seeing other hexagon tutorials and I was thinking the same thing, how they are all so "holy" and because I've done some simple amigurumis before I figured a magic circle could work, but i didnt know how to incorporate it, so thank you so much!!
I'm so glad you enjoy it! If you share any photos on Instagram or Facebook feel free to tag me, I'd love to see!
Thank you this was very clear and helpful.
Loving your Chanel.and thank you for explaining how to do the invisible join seen it b4 but you have just Reminded me how to do it xxx

I’ve just found you, and I really enjoy your teaching style. I’ve been looking for a hexagon pattern I like, and I love yours! Great video 👏🏻
Your content is so calming
Very nice blanket!
Very nice thank you so much for taking the time to make this video it will help me a lot
Do you have a video for the hexagon blanket shown in the background?! I love it!
lt look nice
I made MC about booties from grannie's hexagons.
Thank you
Thank you for the method. What are the names of the Special Craft greens, blues and purple you used in that StyleCraft Special DK small sample you made?
Awesome! Love it. Is there a way to add hexagons that you had already pre-made?
If you only have a few already made, you can attach new ones to them as you make them, but if you've already made a lot you'll have to use a different method unfortunately
do you have a video on how you made the one behind you? :0
No, sorry
What’s the number of the hook thank you if youreply
LOVE! Great blanket! Any idea how many individual hexagons you made? how big is the blanket? Thx :-)
I haven't actually finished this one into a completed blanket. 😅 But for a green hexagon blanket I made a while ago, where each hexagon was 6 rounds, it was 50 full hexagons and 8 half hexagons - 6 hexagons across with 9 rows. The end blanket in Stylecraft Special DK on a 4mm hook was 31"x41", or 80 x 105 cm.
Hello I tried clicking the link for the written version and it no longer work😢
Sorry about that, the cost of hosting the website no longer fits into my budget
Must set to .75 speed in order to understand. Sounds normal on my computer when set that way.
I can’t seem to work out how to do the corners
Hi Margaret, what in particular with the corners are you struggling with?
The half hex doesn’t seem to fit the corner. What do you recommend?
I found the video blurry and your work off centered. In other words you were off camera slot.
I love the joined looked😊
Sorry, its very awkward trying to crochet in front of a camera on a tripod, especially for long periods of time.
Nice beautiful nice 💋💋💞💞
Excelente👏👏👏🧶🧶
I'm finding watching this video is making me feel queezy when you're jigging your fingers about so much, maybe crochet a little bit slower x
carol29carnegie me too. It’s like a weird motion setting. I couldn’t follow it all the way through. 😌
You can slow the the speed down and watch it
Talks too much
This is nothing like a hexagon at all
What do you mean?
Hexagon -
a plane figure with six straight sides and angles.
I'd say these are hexagons 🙄
You are so talented! Your work is literally perfect in every way. Thanks for sharing all your tips
