Hope you guys like the new video unboxing of one of our favorite pieces in the studio! Apologies for the flub on the year, the movie was developed and script completed in 1976 as well as the construction of the Original Stormtrooper movie props, but the film itself was launched in 1977. Enjoy!

I have the small helmet, pretty cool piece. For ANH Stormtroopers the E-11 holster needs to be on the other side (left). And the back part of the belt should have been fabric, but that is another story...
It looks like the stunt helmet as opposed to the hero helmet to me - is that the case? Also, is the black 'brow' piece moveable? I like it when it's higher/separate from the eyes not right down on top of them. More like the original movie. Cheers!
Sheperton studios won the rights to the design in court, over a dispute with Lucasfilm. Both ended up sharing the rights because of the contracts both parts made at the time. This is licensed from Andrew Ainsworth's company, this is the only design he's having.
Unfortunately this is licensed under Original Stormtrooper through Shepperton Studios, so we do not have the Disney license needed for other Star Wars related characters.
I am getting different reactions about the total height of the statue with the base included. Is the total height with the base 63 or 67cm? Could somebody please clarify this please? Thank you!
Yeah realized it after, for some reason I wanted to say written in 1976 rather than released in 1976 (The script was completed in March 1976). It's also the year that the original stormtrooper was made AND it's my birth year so my brain was just set to 1976 lol! Nice to see you were paying attention ;)

@@halfvader8015 It is an idealized Hero helmet. Nothing is movable, as it is like a Gentle Giant bust

Am i to believe that the normal helmet on the 1/3 figure is different to the other helmet? the stand alone helmet looks far more accurate.

Over price for resins. Should of been poly stone. The belt look so cheap.
