  • How to Embrace Your Fears, Live in the Present and Avoid the Happiness Trap!!!
There are a few questions that often replay in our heads:
    1. What is my purpose?
    2. If I achieve massive success will I finally become happy?
    3. How can I learn to finally face my fears?
While these answers aren’t immediately clear, I think logically, we have a sense of what the truth is.
Today we take a deep dive into these topics and there aren’t many people that I think better understand this than Kyle Cease.
Kyle is a New York Times best-selling author and a widely popular comedian turned transformation coach.
As a comedian, Kyle had two #1 Comedy Central specials and was voted as #1 ranking on Comedy Central’s Stand-up Showdown. After leaving his job as an award-winning comedian, Kyle dedicated his life to helping others and created "Evolving Out Loud", which is a growing community with over 400 thousand members worldwide. Kyle has personally coached over fifteen thousand people and his RUclips videos have been watched over 60 million times.
It was a very thought-provoking conversation where we get into things such as why he decided to leave the entertainment industry after having so much success and the process in doing so. We also discuss the common but not so obvious happiness trap and how to avoid it and be genuinely satisfied.
He shares how to authentically embrace feelings of fear, nervousness, and uncertainty and how to use them to your advantage.
We also chat about staying present and living in the moment while also going after what you want in life and of course we chat about purpose too!
    Topics discussed:
What was going through Kyle’s mind when he made the decision of walking away from the entertainment industry
    Kyle talks about fear
Kyle’s advice on how to be genuinely happy and contented
Kyle’s tips to help people embrace their nervousness in a way they can use it to their advantage
The importance of owning your past
Kyle talks about “purpose” and what it really means
How does Kyle coach people to have some sense of goals while maintaining themselves in the present?
The advantages of having open-ended goals
The importance of asking yourself open-ended questions
Kyle’s tips for embracing fear and uncertainty
    Takeaways:
When you let go of something, your mind can only measure what you will lose. It can't see what you will gain.
The things that we've kept in our lives, were helping us mask something that has been trying to come up and out.
If you talk from memory, everyone goes in their head. If you talk from the heart, everyone listens from their heart.
Soul first, and then find the things and people that align with that. Let the people that don't align with it leave, it's fine.
Going into the past and future is a denial of what you are.
It's such an insult to God, to say it's up to you to find your purpose, you go quickly. It's implying that you're not on purpose, and that the universe didn't know what it was doing when it created you.
“What I believe 2020 and 2021 are really about on a spiritual level, is it's doing everything it can to truly purge the past, from the earth, like it's trying to take your past from you.” - Kyle Cease

Woww, I just paused the video and did the exercise where he explains about holding a space for the emotion you’ve been feeling and not judging it but thanking it for serving you when you needed it but with love and respect letting it go. And when I opened my eyes something shifted in me, I looked around for a second and then just waterworks 😂😭. Laughing, crying, the whole caboodle. That was an absolutely Wild experience. I’m very grateful

"If I talk in memory, everyone goes in their head..." That right there made this interview worth it, for me. I had not distinguished that in that way before!

Terms like “mediocre’”, “staying small” and “success” trigger all sorts of ego based images and emotions, while reinforcing the illusions. As Kyle recently stated; there’s no big or small to the Univers.
Who’s doing the judging as to what’s “mediocre”, or what $ucce$$ looks like? Peoples EGOS are! Isn’t TRUE “success” awaking ...regardless how, or by what means, or lack there of?

I have watched MANY interviews with Kyle and I watch Kyle's channel and this interview added a slightly different angle. Very useful. The more we can hear this message from as many different angles as possible, the better. I can never get enough of this topic. Finally bought the Illusion of Money tonight. :)

so hard to focus on this video
    because I'm drowning
    in trauma and stress
and rage and grief and shame,
    and overall emotional pain...
I wish great suffering on those that I loathe.
may they suffer, intense and overwhelming suffering...

I hear ya and I used to feel the same way. But feeling that way only hurts us. It’s an incredible challenge to sit with those emotions and let them run their course without trying to change them at all…BUT it will change your life more than anything else.
I have triggers over this so called pandemic, religion, and people driving slowly and not getting over when they’ve passed someone. Those trigger points are the most valuable things to work on.
Have you read “The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer or Letting Go by David Hawkins?
Those two books changed my life. I sincerely wish you well.

Really enjoyed the interview. Kyle as always is real, present and expressing from the heart. I could so relate to that voice that says when this happens then I will be happy. It's loving all of my feelings in the present moment and expressing from what you feel in the moment Thanks Kyle. 🙂

I think it’s important to realize that as a citizen in a Democratic country, it will be perfectly good to show up in a civic way without relying on government to make you happy or take care of you, etc. Lately I’ve been hearing a lot of anti-government rhetoric in spiritual circles and I just think there’s a balance.

I remember when I was in sixth grade, we had to write a paper on “What I want to be when I graduate high school.” I didn’t know what to put because I was a kid in the moment. Of course I picked the first thing I saw just to write a paper, 🤔.

Instead of asking the question "What would happen if I ended this relationship?"... maybe ask... "What would happen if I took ownership of why this relationship isn't fulfilling... and I ask How would I have to evolve... progress, be open and vulnerable to the reality that it could end and I'm okay with that... but I will level up and be fine with the messiness of the reality of becoming more in my relationship...???"

KYLE! You gotta research more deeply. It is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. And that is truth. That's how people go as far as pimping children and selling drugs, or just hide what is wrong with the car or the house they're selling. Money is merely a tool.
