- oregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) is a 12-km long road infrastructure project that will connect Mulund directly to Goregaon. After, Ghodbunder road, Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), and Santacruz Chembur Link Road, GMLR is the fourth east to the west corridor in Mumbai.
The total estimated cost of the project is 6,225 crores1. It will reduce the traffic congestion and cut down the travelling time. As of now, it takes 80 minutes to travel from Mulund to Goregaon. Once the new road of GMLR is operational, this travel time will be reduced to as quick as 20 minutes.

This will be a great relief for Mumbaikars post completion. We would also like an update pertaining to the Thane Borivali project. I personally feel Thane Borivali is an extremely critical project for all of us

Chances are bright for Much needed international airport at Dapchari, Palghar (passenger+ cargo) due to constantly heavy growing passenger air traffic as Mumbai city is expanding and spreading .

East west connectivity by metro and locals is required. Only roads are not going to reduce congestion and travel time.
Problem is these type of projects looks good in damn CAD renders but in reality they're often messed up.
Lack of interchanges in the city is one of the main problems in the city. Highways/Freeways should not have any traffic signals.

Mumbai real-estate price have become so costly that after few decades only rich people will live in Mumbai, even Navi-Mumbai and Thane have become very costly. Government should improve connectivity from Dombivili, badlapur to Mumbai.
The Magenta Line - Mumbai Metro Line 14 - Kanjurmarg to Badlapur (Via Koparkhairane-Ghansoli, Mahape, Shilphata, Palava, Dombivili, Kalyan, Ambarnath) will solve the connectivity issue.

Crucial Road projects in Mumbai should had been completed atleast 20 years ago. Its very much surprising why Governments neglected road development in a city withh humongous population.

MH gov should come out of sick mindset of keeping the things within Mumbai only. This is problem for all people. Everything is saturated, even if you build a new mumbai on 1st floor it will not be sufficient.
Companies should go outside of mumbai, even gov should give them incentives on this.

Sir, with your channel, I would like to tell you that Metro Railway stations between Andheri East and Dahisar is built to benefit the formidable nexus builders, politicians and corrupt officials.
Two stations namely Akurli( Ban Dongri) and poisar( opposite Narsipada slum, each at a distance of 300 meters from Akurli Road, but no station for next 1.5 kilometres.
Deliberately no station is given to thousands staying in Thakur Village, Samta Nagarand Thakur Complex.
Why, the locations and bus stops actually the most footfalls and convenient locations are ignored.
Mahindra Gate and Saidham( Dattani Park)
Both conveniently ignored.
Why
Now Sethia Builders have started from one corner of Narsi pada slum, they build skyscrapers,
Ban-dongari slum was redeveloped in the same way.
Pathan-wadi is named as dindoshi station
Virwani is renamed as Aarey.
Mahananda Dairy( Vanrai) is renamed as Goregaon East. Shankar wadi as Mogra, why? Who is dictating terms to Metromen? Why Metro from Cuffe parade is not linked to Dahisar?
In long run, it is not going to benefit our locations.😢

There’s lots of Real Estate development happening in both end , Mulund side is more prominently connected to commercial & residential hub Thane , Kalyan - Dombivali- Bhiwandi , Navi Mumbai & other suburbs of Mumbai- Vikhroli Powai etc
This Marvellous Infra Project will improve East - west connectivity & there will be phenomenal Real estate boom witnessing in these areas in coming time 🙏✨

I was working For widening part of this project
Small correction for information as project was started in 2019 and widening part is already completed only some part are pending due to encroachment which is handover to on going bridge construction of this project (other than Nahur ROB)
tunnel part was about to start soon.

I like be close to Inorbit Mall and have a bungalow in Panvel , this link road will cut my travel time by nearly 1 hour , what used to take me 2 hrs 15 minutes, I will be able to reach my destination in 1hr 15 minutes, just waiting for this road to be completed
