Ran my b7 through the nct ...she flew through...20mins down the road threw a check engine light ..fault code P0404..old lady held it together until after the test 😂coughed down the road..replaced egr valve..lik new...when they clog up they strip the nylon gears in the housing unit...great video👍
Have you ever come across P0402 EGR system excessive flow short with power intermittent? Replaced my EGR valve identical to yours, still same fault code comes back after clearing it. I wonder if my valve on the EGR cooler is stuck open slightly. The feed pipe that runs from the cooler round the back of the engine to the EGR on the inlet gets only lukewarm, never seems to get hot....BRD 170, 56 plate.
@diydaly Great video. Can i ask did the egr valve last out? i'm told a lot of after market electrical stuff don't work well on Audi. Just checking before i buy it
yeah its still going strong , tbh when fitting quite a complete or more awkward to fit EGR id rather fit OE or a decent brand but these are really simple & easy to fit so I went for a cheap alternative and its been fine

Great video, my b8 got a p0401 code 2k kms ago, sometimes pulls sonetimes dont, i did nitice but didnt plug any diagnistics in

I have an A4 b7, but the 1.9 is the process to replace the EGR valve the same
A bit different but there not bad to do mate
mine has spline bolts-not torx.
