Thanks for the inputs! It's a common theme for me: Suddenly it clears out, but I have a busy day the next day, so I give myself a few hours. Then I stand outside and say to myself: What the hell do I image now? I learnt to calm down, take my time, go back inside, browse sky guide etc for some inputs, go through my notes AND THEN go back out and start setting up and imaging. Your 12P/Pons-Brooks looks great! I also had only one shot at it for now, but since it's not moving that much against the stars it came out quite nice. I could even crop it to almost fill the image (Canon 90D, 70-300 on my mighty Sky Adventurer GTi). But of course no comparison with Neowise in 2020, when I hat just gotten into Astrophotography! That one image with Neowise over nearby Lake Constance, taken with my little Canon Powershot G7X on a tripod is still one of my dearest pictures! Happy easter!
@@Felldisulfide No, all my astrofotos sit nice and quiet in my MacBook Air … A similar one with Neowise sitting over nearby Constance has been published by our local newspaper though … I hate Insta, only have to not loose track of our grown up kids lives 😉, astrobin scares me with all the perfection you see there and all the information you need to add to the pictures, YT is way out of my reach with the amount of time I am willing to put into this part of my life … I am thinking about putting up a webpage, because there might be more then some of my friends and my mom enjoying what I personally really love to do! But I can send it to you if you wish ! CS as well 🤩
