  • Iv got my first hammock, a Snugpak Jungle Hammock with mosquito net. Time to do some hammock camping / hammock bushcraft. Pitching a hammock instead of a tent is great because you don't have to have a flat surface or watch out for rocks and sticks digging in to your back. That one of the best things with hammocks and that they are so comfortable to sleep in.

Nice video mate, I'm 6'6 and I like to use this hammock for day camping, I wouldn't sleep in it as it's a little to small for that but a perfect day shelter. I have the terrain pattern one that Snugpak does now. I use the DD frontline xl for sleeping overnight or I have a couple of massive diagonal lay ones I imported from America.

Thanks for this. Great first look video. That's exactly what I'm going with. I live on an island and the mosquitos are killer. Planning to go on overnight stays to the beach. Have to stay off the ground because of the pigs and crabs crawling around at night. This one seems well made and easy to set up. This was very helpful.

This looks a whole lot like my One Tigris hammock. I'm very happy with it and yours appears to be just as good. Nice review and I hope your hammock works out as well for you as well as my One Tigris hammock has. By the way, if yours is the same as mine, the loops for suspending the mosquito net ruin through on the inside so you can also hang something on the inside of them such as a light or keys... That way the keys won't rip[ through the pockets on the side. Nice video.

That’s a cool hammock. I’ve never owned or slept in one. Physically it would get difficult for me to go in and out of the hammock., that’s one of the reasons I use a tent. Definitely do an overnighter using your hammock.

Her in sweden it's a bitt more expensive then that about 60-70 USD. So 45 for me sounds good 😉

Hello, I just got this snugpak hammock and can I ask you how did you setup that ropes for mosquito net please? Its like connect all these rope together and then put it around tree or something? Thank you

All depends on the distant some time I only used 2 strings and its more stable the net and 3 when the trees are a bit more apart. Haven't used all 4 I think it's to lose the net with all 4.
