Great video 😊👍
did you noticed this too? in certain light conditions, the olive green fabrics of the under quilt und top quilt shimmering green and sometimes brown. the polish company Helikontex calls it "adaptive green" i really like it!
Could you get the helikon tex level 7 light weight winter jacket and do a review????
Leave it with me 🤙
@@MoorlanderEDC oh brilliant thank you, I'm looking for compressible insulation jacket that can go in my emergency bag but the only reviews I found of it were I german and for me it's a lot of money so I want to be sure it good quality and will last. Love your approach to videos great presentation and engaging but at the same time not making them to long 👍
hi nice vid .can you use the jungle hammock with out the moz net
No. It's sewn into the seems of the hammock. I believe they do have models where it can either be removed or they come without them if you're not concerned about bugs 👍
It doesnt detatch, but you can use it without just by flipping the whole thing over so the net us under the hammock 👍
Isn't the inner blanket meant to be used the other way round? Pop your feet in the bottom and pull it over you.
Yes, I mentioned in one of the notes in the video it's meant to work like that. I definitely missed mentioning that I'd gone off piste slightly and noticed when editing 🤙
I have some items from snugpak (bivy bag, sleeping bags, ...) and I like my stuff specially my jungle blankets :)
2 things I do not like:
1. The quality was superior 'before' (when all was made in England), something numerous people said and write (maybe it changed or will change)
2. The quality and usability of the compression bags for sleeping bags are just awful (far too tiny when you want to store back your bag after your camp, and no good quality because the compression bag for my special force one tore during the compression phase (the first time) => chinese example ?)
I'll look into that more. They have split their range. You can still buy the 'Made in UK' gear, or the imported gear. With the costs making their gear out of the UK it's a cheaper option. I think most of their jackets have a UK and Imported varient
Hope you're well my friend and had a great weekend 🤙
While some of our products are UK-made, to make it clear, we have never manufactured 'ALL' products in the UK; this is a common misconception on the internet. There are also rumours on the internet that we have changed certain products from UK-made to imported like our tents, for example, but we have never manufactured our tents in the UK. I felt it was important to point this out. 😁
We have always had a range of UK-made and imported products for the last 40 years. We try to make this as clear as possible on our website and all the labelling.
@@SnugpakHQ Interesting but how we can know that these answer is from a real Snugpak account ? I continue to like the products but I see also some reviews that point lack of quality since some years.
Wow! Pretty bulky !!
There's definitely quite a bit more to hammock camping with the quilts. When scaled back to just the hammock and tarp it's a lot lighters
i do not recommend this hammock. it's junk. there are way better solution for hammocks in this price range with more features. for example the DD hammocks Frontline. but i own the Snugpak Under Quilt and also the Hammock Top Quilt and i like it. even if the Under Quilt has its flaws (like almost every Snugpak Gear). i mean, both ends of the UQ are almost open and there is too much cordage that even can't fix it. but i'm a good weather hammock camper, so i do not pay much attention to this. it works for me and the prices are reasonable.
