Aren't the landlords responsible for lead removal? Change the laws to make them accountable. Don't pay rent in a home that is making your family sick. Save the rent money and move somewhere safe. Eviction laws should protect families against slumlords. Sue the landlords for the families health damages, too.

Lead is also in ammunition...and Police are constantly exposed at the shooting range....and anyone else that frequents shooting ranges and handles ammunition on a regular basis...Lead is everywhere...It is not just a "poor" persons problem...this rabbit hole goes really deep..Lead is the first neurotoxin known to man.

It's in the windows which al need to be replaced and the paint, painting over it wouldn't work they would have to sand every wall in the house and expose themselves to much more lead in the process. That's the landlord's responsibility and he should be sued for poisoning this family. The city got tons of federal money to fix the issue and it was stolen instead of going to help people like it was supposed to
This happened to my family in 1972. God healed my older brother❤😌. He almost died at age 1. My heart and prayers go out to these families.
