    Tubeless is awesome! I've had many punctures on my tubeless mountain bike wheels but never once has it required that I go home with a flat. And with the sealant I run I often don't even know I had a puncture until I get home and I clean my bike. it also allows you to run lower pressure and still be safe if you happen to be riding a super rocky trail for example. And then when you're done, just air up a little bit for your street ride home.

    • @turbolevo8703
      @turbolevo8703 9 месяцев назад

      What sealant do you use for EUC?
      I’ve used stans for over 15 years on my MTB’s and I’ve never had a flat in all that time.
      Only once I had a cut tyre in the rain from broken glass. But I’m unsure about using stans in an EUC because of the ammonia content.

      @@user-ke9yk5qp3u
      I’ve had stans sealant corrode aluminium rims. It takes time to do this, a year or two, and I’ve never had a rim fail because of it, but it does eat into the aluminium, especially around the valve hole where there may be no protective anodise where the hole has been drilled.
      I’ve bought some sealant without ammonia in it for my EUC, Peatys which is a UK brand. Thanks for your thoughts.
      Ps. The ammonia in stans sealant is used to prevent it drying out, although it still does dry out over time, but this can take 12 months or so depending on climate etc.

      @@choochtech been looking at inmotion v13. With scooters I made the mistake of buying a cheap scooter and having to upgrade a few months later. Don’t want to have to do that with the EUC. Thoughts? I live in a small spread out town I need fast and long range. I am normally go 40MPH+ on my scooter and 20 mile trips. So a EUC that can do 50 and go at least 30 miles would be ideal.

      @@Fishfood007 v13 too heavy for a starter wheel. Get a v12 HT for your first wheel. It is half the price, and you will love it. If you want suspension get the v11. The v13 is too big and fast and heavy for practical use. V12 ht is my recommended first euc.

      @@choochtech too slow. What about the veteran Patton?

      @@Fishfood007 you’d like the Patton but it’s a small diameter wheel. Get a 20 inch wheel if you want speed and the range, hard to ride a small wheel like the Patton fast and far range suffers.
      Sherman s, or the Lynx is what you want. Low key the lynx is the best wheel I have ever rode. The thing is amazing. Patton is a trail wheel pretty much, kinda low range specs.
      Lynx or Sherman s is what you want if you looking for range and speed you are used to on your scooter.
      If I was buying any euc right now I would get the Lynx 100% it’s light weight and stupid fast, and has plenty of range even when riding fast. Lynx or Sherman s. You get double range and about 10 mph less top speed on the Sherman s.
