    This thing just absolutely eats up dirt roads. I took mine out on a fuel break road that was pretty damaged and rocky from the rains and I couldn't believe how good it did. So I decided to do a black diamond mountain bike trail and I just told myself that I will take it easy and I will walk it in sections that are sketchy. I ended up riding the whole damn thing with loose rock and steep drops. It really is amazingly agile for being an 88 pound wheel. I lowered my pedals and lowered my tire pressure due to a severe speed wobble at about 38 miles an hour. (My fault) I also took off that kickstand because it has bruised my legs a couple of times. It will also catch on steep drops at low speeds. If you have a sticky on/off button a little bit of graphite powder took care of it for me.

      Thanks for the advice! Lynx is really great well, seems that Patton will be right now as the "backup" wheel only :)

    Nice video shoot. I rarely see unboxing videos with the visual clarity so detailed as to see dust particles on the product. I have a couple of questions about the box of accessories. What's the second top cover for, and does everything else in that box come standard with the Lynx?

    • @pawel.wisniowski

      Thank you!
      Second top cover was sent as the replacement part in case of problems with the original one.
      These side pads are not standard. It is an optional equipment, which was given by the seller additionally (seperate package) due to long time delivery.

      @@pawel.wisniowski Yeah, that's exactly what I needed to know. New Zealand has one sole retailer that is getting in some Lynxes next month, or so the owner alleges... It's good to know what I need to source beforehand because I'm almost certain that this retailer will not carry any Lynx accessories.

    A ride comparison of the two would be awesome. Not so much the performance differences since we already pretty much know, but rather the ease of maneuvering and fun factor differences between the two. Is it just an optical illusion, or is the Patton wider between the legs (width from right to left of the battery packs)? Thanks for sharing.

    I filled the inner tube with 3 ounces of sealant. We have a lot of goat heads in my area. I'm pretty lightweight and 30 psi is a recipe for a speed wobble for me. I run my pressure down around 21 psi and that seems to completely minimize the speed wobbles. Be careful going downhill at speed. Watch Chooch's video of his speed wobble crash on his Lynx and check out how fast it happens. Mine came on fast and violent and I almost lost it.

    • @pawel.wisniowski
      @pawel.wisniowski  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks again. I'm using ~30PSI and it seems ok for my needs, will adjust it if needed. Still more km/miles need to have to improve my skills and be more familiar with Lynx :)

    Awesome, everything perfect except those knobby tires. Some people love them, but for me I would immediately swap those out for some upgraded street tires.

    • @pawel.wisniowski
      @pawel.wisniowski  6 месяцев назад +1

      You can order already with street tire. Depends what you prefer. I like knobby, especially for the light off-road or some difficult terrain, and this... street sound :)

      It's a way better wheel for off Roading than it is street.

    The video is almost perfect. The Patton comparison part could be better. It would be interesting to see the differences in height in general, the pedals, and the differences in driving between the two......I, for example, want to exchange my Patton for the Lynx but I'm afraid of the difference in size between the two... .....

    • @pawel.wisniowski
      @pawel.wisniowski  7 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you. Will try to add maybe some kind of quick comparison, to see the dimensions differences.
      I just had a ~20km initial ride on Lynx, and honestly it seems bit better balanced with weight.
      I'm waiting for the real spring with better weather to ride more on Lynx to see which one is better for my needs.
