Beautiful color!! Yes it did look green to me also, but oh how beautiful it turned out! 🙌
That has to be one of the prettiest shades of OOPS paint I have seen! Great score for $9. It turned out beautiful!
Thanks, love your profile pic 🖤
I agree I want that color oops...;)
Where do you sell your large furniture
Facebook marketplace
@Black Sheep House I know it was oops! Paint. But did it happen to have the color name it should have been? I would love to see if I could get them to recreate it! 😂. It would look awesome on a Jewelry Armoire I’m about to do.
I absolutely love the color you chose for this dresser. What a lucky find. The paint will be nice and calming for a bedroom. So pretty. Great job on your part.
Beautiful! The color does look blueish... but it also looks neutral and elegant. You flipped a boring dresser into a Beauty! Even the handles look nice. Thanks so much for sharing
I was surprised how nice the handles looked after it was done! Saves me a lot of $ bc there were so many 😅
I noted you used Behr interior satin for the dresser. Did you use paint "as is" or add water-based polyacyrlic finish?
I've been watching lots of your videos I love your furniture flips you make these pieces look gorgeous.
I'm preparing to paint two chests of draws so I'm getting lots of tips from you before I go ahead. I have lots of experience decorating my home but have never painted furniture. Wish me luck😮
Can you use Sherman Williams acrylic latex gray paint and primer dressers if I add a top coat? I can get a new gallon for 15 bucks paint and primer. It’s a nice gray but not sure if it’ll work ok.
Gorgeous!! I think if you were to put green, blue and grey colours near them thats what it will draw out 😉
You are really skilled with a brush. Great work. -Dino
I thought it was a green shade when you first opened the can. I love how this turned out the color and finish is just beautiful! Great work
I use a soup ladle to transfer paint out of a can.
Very clever!
What is the name of this color. It’s beautiful!
You painted that gorgeous wood?? No thank you.
Very beautiful like always!!
What is up with the stink bugs?! I picked up a piece yesterday. I got it home and always at least vacuum them out before putting them in the garage. This dresser had about 20 stink bugs in it!!
BIN is GREAT !
Loved the color
I just found you and want to say how much I love your videos. Thanks so much for putting out great content. I have not attempted painting furniture, but you make it appear doable.
How do you find the Behr paint holds up compared to using fusion ,Dixie Belle, Melenge' or othe furniture paints. It seems like the best paint is one the doesn't easily chip. Thanks forthe good video
The primer paint purring was giving me anxiety 🤣 it was all over the can 🙃 Nice job though 🤩💯👏🏻🥳
You could also market it as a buffet. Beautiful piece and LOVE the color. Thanks for sharing
OMG, what a beautiful color! And you're right I thought it would be a more sagey green but it did end of looking more blueish. Either way it's still beautiful!
Question, very curious to know why you didn't paint the inside? 🤷♀ I always paint the inside as well😉
Beautiful as always.. How come you didn't use a top coat?
For longevity of the piece it’s always a good idea to topcoat, I decided to wait a while and do a scratch test to see if I could skip it with this paint
Oh ok cool... What was the outcome or have you tried it yet? 💚
Is the oops color flat or satin?
It is satin
New to painting furniture and like your easy to follow posts . what do you use to clean the furniture before starting to paint? .
I had two of these dressers that i just flipped. i did completely different finishes on them and yes they are huge and heavy. my slides were in the middle not on the sides but otherwise the dressers are identical. The top was a thin cherry veneer with mahogany trim. Yes it was a very thin veneer and i agree it was the thinnest i have worked with. I did the same on the first one so i used liquid wood and white washed it. I was smarter on the second one and stripped it and then used a very high grit paper very lightly.
Love that brush on, roll off technique. The cleverest ever!!
Like that paint color.
Will try the paint on then roller technique.
That color is really pretty!!!!! Love it.....
How much are you selling it for? Looks beautiful
I’m going to list it at $475 on Facebook marketplace 🖤
To me it looks like gray, so beautiful!
Andersonville, Tennessee here! Love this piece!
I have a question I hope you can answer for me....I'm trying to fill in a design engraved into the back of a dining chair. I've used wood filler twice but I can still see the design.
Any advice?
I’ve been there! You’ll just have to keep filling and sanding, hopefully u just have to do it one more time 🖤
Yes, looks blue. Lovely work.
That’s the prettiest oops paint I’ve ever seen 😅
great information and a good job
Un travail remarquable👍
Love it beautiful color
What a gorgeous color!
Great work! 👍👏
Beautiful..
Beautiful 😍
So pretty!
Does anyone know if she is still using her creative 3 in 1 step paint…paint, primer, and polyurethane mixed together?
I use it all the time 🖤 but I wanted the color to stay the same on this one and the 1 step paint lightens the color a bit, turns out the color on this changed anyway so I should’ve used it anyway! I try to show a variety of ways to do things on RUclips though so you’ll see me switch up paints a lot however in real life my one step paint is a staple for my business and saves me a lot of $ 🖤
@@blacksheephouse oh fantastic! I have to be honest, I used this paint mix on my brand new cabinets and two 10+ y/o nightstands that needed a redo and it is the BEST concoction I’ve ever used…the paint glides on so smoothly. The cabinets legitimately look like they were bought from retail already painted. My nightstands turned out so pretty too, I just should have filled in a few scuffs. This amazing concoction will be my forever. As always, looking forward to your next video.
Beautiful , but why you didn’t use a top coat? I have been using this paint and primer and 3 coat of poly,I thought that it needs it 😅.Thank you for your tips, now I’m no going to top coated any more with this pain ever.
I’m gonna scratch test after I give a bit of time to cure and if it needs a topcoat I will do 1 coat of water based polyurethane (Varathane is my favorite) but the paint has some good sheen to it so I’m hoping it’ll be strong enough for a bedroom dresser. I’m planning to do a scratch test video soon of all my most used paint/primer/topcoat/1 step combos 🖤
@@blacksheephouse Thank you for replying to my comment .I also need to do scratch test too to my pieces with this paint too.I’m a fan of you🙋♀️ I always try to copy your technique with the dry foam roller. Thank you for everything you share in your channel .Thankyouuuuuu!!!!🙏🏻
