You are my favorite furniture artist! You are a excellent teacher. Also, I'm so happy that you are showing your daughter how to be an independent woman. Thank you so much for sharing your world with us. See you on the next video.
Virtual Huggies,
Eunice 🤗
You have such a sweet and cute assistant 👍😎🐕🦺
Well I could just cry, hearing your daughters young sweet voice, reminds me of how fast time goes by. Warms my heart to see a working Mom making space & time for her daughter. My daughter is 33.....I miss those days! Fabulous redo! I appreciate your expertise & volumes of knowledge you share with us!
You have really mastered these bow front dressers with the curvy legs. Your little helper is learning great skills from you and may follow in your footsteps. You display excellent parenting. A great role model on how to parent. Oh, and beautiful dresser. As always!
Your little nugget has the right wrist action for stirring paint….she learned from the best, as I am today. Lovely results.
She is actually very precise for her age. So very precious!
Beautiful piece ❤
Its so awesome you are so patient and include her.
Beautiful and again your little nugget is the cutest
It does look like a beautiful color. Kids are innocent and say the darndest things!
Love watching you work and play. You have such good ideas. Thank you
Absolutely love your work, and I so appreciate you sharing your knowledge with the world! Also, I love it when your sweet little helper makes an appearance. ❤️
This is just adorable! She’s too stinking cute! ❤ Beautiful piece!!
Thank you so much for this. I've got a file cabinet and an etagere in my office that I want to do this for and even in this tone. You are your assistant did an amazing job
So sweet. Nicely done.
You do a great job at these furniture makeovers, am gonna try your technique, you've got a new fan, keep at it
That nugget is a natural ♥️
Beautiful job
Looks gr8 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I have a hutch that the top flips open to make it like a serving area I’d like to see you do a piece similar if you happen to have a hutch. It also has a raised wood design on drawer
I love your videos, so helpful I tried the tan pottery barn finish on a smaller side table it turned out so cute and like you said the finish is so forgiving almost goof proof, I love it!! thanks for all your time put in your teaching and your videos, you're so easy to follow as well, thank you!! thank you!!. I can't find that dog tool, oh!!😊💓💓🦮🐕
Oh, I have a golden and she lies in garage, the hair is crazy, clean the garage constantly when I paint, yikes!! She's very well worth the trouble!😊🦮
Love this finish. I applied glaze outside out of the rain, but MISTAKE. The glaze took days to dry and ran. I brushed it numerous times to fix the runs. Not totally successful. Be mindful of weather when painting.
Great video! Just primed my dresser and painting tomorrow. Does it matter that I bought flat paint?
When finished do your wood look finishes feel smooth to the touch?
Do you do any light sanding between any steps?
We are painting our kitchen cabinets. We want it to look like a factory finish sealed and durable. What is the best way to achieve that? A clear polypropylene sealant?
Do you only do one coat of paint with the glaze? What is the purpose of using the glaze? Does it just make the dry time longer so you can do the brush lines, or what is the advantage of using it?
What sheen of clear coat did you start out with? Does it make a difference what sheen you start with before adding the CC? The enthusiasm of your little helper was so precious. I wish I could have those days back with my kids.
I started with satin, if you buy matte you’re probably good although even matte has some sheen. She goes to kindergarten next year and I’m already heartbroken 😭
On the end with the matte finish clear coat, did you use the glaze for it or the water based polyurethane?
If I am using your all in one recipe, will this still work? Or is the white primer showing through a little when you are brushing with the dog brush? Can I get this same affect with the all in one paint recipe?
I had a question Why do you use glaze vs paint?
Yeah….was wondering could you just use brush with coffee colour over white background for same effect?? What does this glaze actually do? I’m a bit confused. Sorry for sounding vague. 🤔
It’s about the dry time and how fast you can get your “stripes” on it before it starts getting tacky and creates boogies. In another video I use half clear coat and half paint too. You can use just paint totally just play around see what works for you 🖤
Just so I have more time before it dries so it doesn’t get tacky and start making a goober mess when I brush. But I have done this all sorts of ways and had great results!
I like gold with that color and I do not like black with that color.
How much did u sell it for?
