Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
Can I stop and say something completely off topic? You are so beautiful. You look natural and low maintenance and you do it so well. I love your work too, of course. I do furniture flipping as well and I have learned a lot from you. Thank you!!

I prefer the dark-coloured knobs against the light wood. Thinking outside the box has always been your forte Katie. Thanks for giving us a peek and as always for inspiring us.
Like most, I like the contrast of the darker knobs. I really need to do this to a desk, dresser and chest of drawers that I've had since I was a kid. I love how you restyled the base/legs. It's exactly the look I'd like. Thanks for sharing your expertise. Amazing work.
You are so good. I love that you treat the inside of the furniture with beeswax and hemp oil. It makes it look brand new and cared for. Love the black knobs and how you placed them.
Wow, one of the best "how to" videos I have ever seen. Love how you just get on with it and no flowery intro filled with unnecessary verbage. The end product is fabulous. I am 77 so I have seen a lot. Take this as a big compliment.
I’ve really wanted to do this finish for a while but have been too intimidated and overwhelmed by all the different techniques online. This was a great straight forward tutorial, thank you so much!
Wow that painting technique actually looks like wood! I can see it being really great for somebody who might have health problems and can’t sand. Love that you are getting more comfortable with power tools 💪! It’s amazing how the shape of furniture legs can really make or break a piece I recently did a little tweaking myself for the ugly duckling challenge. Thank you for sharing another great video! Love the contrast of the dark knobs
I don't know if you call yourself an artist, but you ARE. What a talent to get something so old and beat up and transform it into a master piece. Black knobs definitely was the perfect choice.
The dark knobs brought it front and center for me. Beautiful job! One other thing, support your local and small businesses. They are counting on you! Again, you knocked it out of the park! 🕊🇺🇲
I have seen many RUclips furniture flippers build new bases ( even you!) to update these old girls. That still looked a little intimidating to me. What a great idea just to re-image what was there already! Great idea and great finish!
Reminds me of the "antiquing" look back in the 70s. My dad did it pretty much the same way you did (without the comb) for one of my dressers when I was a kid.
Yessssss! Back in the sixties my dad used a faux woodgrain antiquing kit to refinish my brother’s bedroom furniture. It actually came out looking surprisingly good!
About 65 years ago my great uncle painted all the woodwork in his house, doors, trim etc., using a graining technique. I was so amazed as it looked like wood with knots and everything, and he showed me what he used. It was a small roller with a pattern on it that you just rolled over your wet top coat. I was a bit disappointed that it was so simple but it looked great, I can still see it in my mind's eye. It's the finished product that counts, right? 😊
Solid, simple black (soft lines) hardware? Amazing finish on this! I live in a studio apartment (and probably always will)-thank you for thinking of those of us who have no space! 👏
Every time I watch one of your videos I run straight to fb marketplace liking for a similar piece 😂😂. Great job on this one, I like the dark knobs personally.

You knocked this out the box Katie.....well done!!!

Great vision
Absolutely love it! The dark knobs set it off.I did a seaside bleached wood look on a bedroom set years ago. It’s amazing what one can do with paint!!
