Reduce the depth of an ikea drawer

Has i installed a new bathroom vanity from ikea, i encountered a problem with the depth of the upper drawer that was blocked by the pipes behind. As i was not willing to re-work the pipes, i decided to reduce the drawer. Here is how i did it.
