7:17 that's where I have my Zumo XT...I love that thing! When we were without cell service in Canada and Alaska, I was able to navigate when we had no google maps available.
I added a Pedal Commander which make the Spyder a lively machine and brings many smiles to your face, I also down shift manually a lot just like playing racer also keeps me in the sweet spot for RPM. My ride "Tigger" 2019 RT LTD. Extras: Running lights, fender lights, brake flasher, Bajha sway bar, grill covers, GPS/Phone mounts, thinking of RLS exhaust😎😎
Glad you got some nice weather...similar here. Got out on the 7th and now we have snow again. Yes, definitely different than 2 wheels. I've never driven a snowmobile so not sure what that feels like in comparison. The quad I can speak to because we have a Kodiak and to me, it doesn't feel like riding a quad. It's just different, lol. Fun, but different!
When I bought my first motorcycle, my uncle congratulated me and also said that a motorcycle is only the down payment for future mods. 40 some odd years and several motorcycles later he was not mistaken...... Keep up the good work.
I think The F3 with The SM6 Manual Gearbox would be better suited to you coming from a Motorcycle Background like me that's why I got one ... They No longer make The SM6 anymore they're all Semi-Auto now! 👍😎🤙 Beanie
Thankyou for taking us on your ride-a-along,, no music and some chat was great, looking forward to seeing your future rides in nicer weather so we get to see the area in which you reside in,,,,ride safe
Woo hoo! Mrs. Y-DER rode it...awesome! How did you like the pillion position? I can't stand riding back there. YES, she most definitely needs her own Spyder!!
RLS cat delete seems to be fine on my bike. Recommend you retain the original cat, a new replacement will cost $2400.00 or more before installation. Another reason for retaining the old cat is that if you upgrade bikes you can always keep the cat delete for install on a new bike.
Well first and foremost a big thank you for liking and linking my last vid, truly appreciated. I see you like the cruise control just don’t do what I did and accidentally shut the engine off in the middle of the highway trying to adjust it lol. I think many people get on these trikes expecting a 2 wheel experience. Unfortunately they are not even remotely the same and you can hear the confusion in the voice of many reviewers that are strictly 2 wheel guys. Approach it like what it is “its own unique thing”. For better or worse you still have a few cosmetic things to fix but luckily nothing major. A little bug/tar remover should help in the cleaning but if that fails maybe some light buffing ? That might also help with the windscreen and worth a try before paying for a new one. I also wish I had carplay but to be honest a good com system is all you would really need for the music. If i really needed navigation then the garmen zumo xt is the way to go way better than a phone when you have gloves on. Well thats all i got looking forward to you getting those last few things buttoned up before the mods start. Looking forward to the next one.
You’re welcome and thanks for all the tips. I may have the answer for the haze on the paint already. I did a small test and can’t wait to do the whole thing…
@@Y-DER it is appreciated but the audience is fickle. If it happens it happens. It would be a nice marker but other than that I wont be loosing sleep over it one way or the other. The funny thing is if you have something to build or fix people will tune in. There is only so much you can put on your ride or fix. 🤷🏼♂️
You can beat Harleys in the 1/4 mile with that semi automatic shifting lol. You can downshift yourself if you want to...once I lost the ability to downshift myself and lost reverse...needed a new control module...and I really missed not being able to downshift myself. It would be nice to have adaptive cruise control. I rarely use the cruise because Tommy and I just can't seem to sync our speeds. Glad to hear a Spyder will always be in your stable!!
5:14 I recognized.😮 My Lumina went to scraps there. 😅

Yes, backrest for sure!
Great video, so much better without the music, being so loud. All the best and good riding
Thanks 👍

Definitely the Pedal Commander. Everyone that I’ve seen do that is happy with it. Thanks for the suggestions.

Now that I'm back in front of a computer, I've done the same. Cheers to you too brother. I need to start looking for a broken SM6 to repair...

I think you’re right Beanie. I should probably try to find an SM6 for the next project.

We can certainly relate to having to wear a snowmobile helmet while riding a motorcycle up here in Wisconsin! Haha
Exactly!

She is not too fond of the name “Mrs Y-DER” 🤣. Pillion wasn’t too bad actually
I'm excited for the future of this channel
Me too! Thank you
Thanks, I enjoyed the ride out and video.
Thank you!

I am actually buying an RLS as soon as they are back in stock. Everything I’ve seen looks like it is superior.

@@SIRyker I'm also anxiously watching your count too see it round the 500 mark. Hope this helps.🤞

Precisely why I'm already on the hunt for another broken Spyder...
My hinge broke on that same side...hmmm...I think TommyG tried shoving too much stuff in my side bags lol
Mentioned your background was in Tech, I would of guessed mechanic or CEO of Ryobi!
You win the award for the funniest comment I’ve ever received. I do have a Ryobi problem… 😂

Hoover Vacuum, lol
Cat delete! Yes!
CAN I PLEASE ASK WHERE YOU'RE ORDERING YOUR PARTS FROM ?
eBay mostly.
How many miles did you say the Spyder has covered?
Just a hair over 130k miles
