Glad you’re back. I just rode in the rain yesterday and happy to report my phone was safe in my pocket while the CarPlay device worked great in the rain 😉
Oh speaking of LocTite, I did a video recently where I installed a GPS/Docking station (from Slingmods). When I took off the side panels, I noticed that the three torx screws had yellow loctite on them. When I put things back together, I did NOT loctite them again because I didn't have any yellow and didn't want to use stronger... I guess I'll be a bit nervous until I yank those covers off and check those screws at some point soon... I should have done it at the time and now I keep thinking about it! LOL
I am also trying my cardo (mostly for music on a new helmet i just go the Touratech Adventura carbon ( full face) still be be road tested, I also have a few others with Sena 5s an older unit but work great for what i need. I am starting to like more and more the adventure helmets since they have a better vison , I don't use the peak since the Ryker is a asphalt grinder mostly. For the longer journey I still love my Shoei neotec , for city I use one I got last year and have great vison the Scorpion At950 wich is very affordable for what you get. Bike is coming out of storage next week and can wait ( new custom exaust) i did not think i would go there but i did ... just wanted to improve the sound a noch or 2 even at 64 I like my toys .... nice to watch you video and you always provide very interesting content.. I don't have a Spyder yet but hope to have one by the end of the year. Still doing my research and going to Columbus Ga tomorrow for a Can Am on road ride event to test drive one. Glad to see you are enjoying the Spyder. Do you still have the original tires on that Spyder? Might want to consider car tires for replacements. I have been running car tires on my 17RTL for 24000+ miles. Would not go back to Kendas. Ryde safe and God Bless Artie
Do you have a video how you did this. I just recruited my son to assist me with this haha. I chopped that wire in two and tapped into it uh using some push connectors um
If you don’t run a wire to the switch area for a USB port, you could simply run the wire that comes with the CarPlay device direct to the accessory power wire near the battery (like the wire that was run in the USB port episode I did)

Hello! I used the SpyderTV RAM mount amzn.to/3TAkMHi which currently looks like it is out of stock. The W702 comes with the rest of the RAM style mounting that I used. Cheers!
They are actually not riding gloves, rather gloves I purchased at Home Depot with some grip for working in the garage. I just like them for riding. They do have good padding in the knuckles but nothing that is going to keep my hands safe in a crash. I am looking for a new set of gloves that are made for riding.

I can't leave my covers on for more than a month so I haven't even thought of loctite for those... lol
