  • Join GaonaLive in this sensitive episode as they have an open and candid conversation with Khuni Ndlovu, a survivor who shares her story of surviving rape and sexual assault by two men who broke into her home when she was only 13 years old.
Khuni's situation is an example of how her own story and pain has manifested itself to help inspire others and help heal people who have their own traumas as she elaborates on the episode. While discussing the trauma and horror of her story she still emphasises the importance of having faith, seeking help, and looking at the world from a positive perspective. Through her story, she hopes to raise awareness about the prevalence of rape and sexual assault, and the urgent need for society to confront these issues head-on.
Prepare to be moved as GaonaLive provides a platform for Khuni's voice to be heard, as well as to drive discussions about prevention, support, and societal responsibility. This episode aims to be a beacon of hope for survivors, a call to action for society, and a reminder that, together, we can work towards a world free from the shadows of sexual assault and rape.

My mom passed away so please guys ive forgiven her she didn't know how to deal with it because she was always frustrated being unemployed alcoholic. I tried suicide

My cousin was gang raped by 6 men at 16, at 21 she committed suicide in her hospital bed. It's been 18 years since she died and the pain of losing her still hits hard. The worst thing is that all these men are not in jail. I keep wondering how many people have they raped since that time. Thank you for sharing your story. May God heal you.

Listening to this I am also thinking maybe its not that the counseling didnt work. For counseling to work the client needs to be ready to work through their emotions. I am glad you spoke about the fact that you had to go back to face your emotions and that counseling takes so much effort from you as the client. And that triggers will always be there but you can handle them when you are aware of them.Your story will heal so many people🙏
