  • Join Gaona Live for a profoundly touching episode as we sit down with Lele Koakae, a courageous woman who shares her deeply personal story of experiencing the heartbreaking loss of two children. In this emotionally charged conversation, Lele bravely opens up about the devastating journey of losing her first child to a miscarriage and then enduring the premature birth and subsequent loss of another child due to complications arising from body trauma.
Lele sheds light on the immense emotional turmoil and grief that accompanied these losses, delving into the profound impact it had on her as a mother and as a woman. She candidly discusses the stigma and societal perceptions surrounding miscarriage and infant loss, as well as the deeply ingrained feeling of inadequacy and the unjust perception of being "less of a woman" that she grappled with.
While navigating the complexities of her experiences, Lele courageously addresses the trauma of physical abuse and its suspected role in the complications that affected her pregnancy. She shares her resilience in the face of adversity, aiming to raise awareness about the harrowing realities faced by women who endure loss, stigma, and domestic abuse.
This episode serves as a poignant reminder of the strength found in vulnerability and the importance of fostering empathy and support for those who have experienced similar tragedies. Join Gaona Live and Lele Koakae in a conversation that seeks to destigmatize grief, elevate voices of resilience, and offer solace and solidarity to mothers who have faced the unbearable pain of losing their children.

The words of my bestie months after we lost her baby boy, she said the same thing lele said,"May God knew he could have lived with a condition e neng e to re palla gore e handle." That's what comforted us the most . Baby boy would've been a 1 year and 6 months . Be comforted, Lele, God is still God. He will see you through🙏
