Just fyi, the OEM for this ESC is ZTW. The same oem for the OMG 160A as well as quite a few other new Bluetooth enabled escs. All of these escs have the same programming features and will perform basically the same. The team powers branded version if this esc are much much cheaper. If you want to try a breve but dont want to pay the reved tax I recommend the team powers xps sport or pro
Yiss I know about the ZTW bits inside the Team Powers, OMG and the Reve-D ESCs. I was informed during development. So far the high price point is for a name and some shiny edges. I've seen the OMG ESC before this one and I notice a lot of similarities so you are not wrong :)
Each one will have different firmware install on them. When i compare the price points now to others on the market in my region most ESC's end up the same if i add the programmer cost to them...the Breve ESC and Yokomo's Bl Pro 4 ESC + Wifi programmer end up at the same cost. There are a few nice little features about the Breve I do actually like though.
Thinking back to the track owner's car...I remember deciding to set the cutoff at 6.4v instead of "AUTO" setting from default. We didn't drain the battery to that point during our testing that night though but will do :)
Dude im having the same issue, car keeps going, I check and in some cases one cell will be under 3 volts and one at 3.1 one, cutoff was set to 3.7 so I don’t know whats going on, auto did the same, I have to stop and keep checking, it’s fucking my batterys 😟
@@derekjackson277 weird they would set auto like that though, who would have it at 3.* if it wasnt per cell? I did put it to 7.4 and worked perfectly then….. untill I fried it lool 🫤
Reverse is calibrated and set during the standard calibration process. After that you much connect to the ESC via bluetooth and Breve 1.0 app to set driving mode to F/N/B/R...by default reverse is disabled.
I got to me of these put in my rdx and I love it. It may be my new go too lol. I’m running 20 boost and 20 turbo and it feels so smooth. Even if in the end it a rebrand or whatever I’d say it’s worth it lol. And I just need the motor for a full reve d rdx 😂
0o0o very nice :D I'll probably stick this one in my RDX as well since I drive it far more often now-a-days vs my MC-1. Also i sorta gotta like to have things matchy matchy at times lol
I would love to hear how this ESC performs against Acuvance. I have one and it is night and day better than my Hobbywing XD10 Pro.

Agreed..
@BadShoppe so all 3 escs are the same? Is thus one even worth it then with such a price difference?

running mine for a week now, Loving it! but one thing can u test the Cutoff voltage setting... not realy sure if it is working ccorrectly ^^

@@MrMikeAlright I set mine to 7.4v and it cuts off around 7.5v on my batteries. It's not per cell, I don't think as mine works perfectly.

How do you calibrate the reverse for this ESC, everythng works great but can't seem to get the reverse to calibrate?
Reverse is calibrated and set during the standard calibration process. After that you much connect to the ESC via bluetooth and Breve 1.0 app to set driving mode to F/N/B/R...by default reverse is disabled.
if it is not that, check your radio's channel 2 reverse settings. You may need to change that settings to get calibration to complete properly.
👌
U know what chassis and body rcdriftok uses on his cars?
I think he uses maybe a md 1.0?
RMX 2.5?
@@thrash_ratok where does he get body’s from?
Not sure at all. Best to ask directly.
@@BadShoppeI did he hasn’t responded yet
