my lp damper leaked like that overnight after the first build. Replaced it with an old plastic damper I had laying around from a D4.

I'm curious about the width, it says 208mm which seems really wide, probably can't use a 195mm wide body unless i want the wheels sticking out I'm guessing

New screw is a 6mm x 2mm old screw is 6mm x 2.5mm

33:43 On the addendum it shows that the original screws are m2.5 x 6 with the updated screws being m2 x 6.

Currently building one of these, doing similar setup, I've not found a ball diff for these, since they use the same diffs as the Slash/Rustler/XO1 which are all geared and I don't think the style will allow for a ball diff. I've seen one with the gear diff keeping up with a comp shark, speed wise. ALSO, Yeah Racing makes an aluminum servo mount for the 4tec that doesn't have the box, it's like $15 USD. Hopefully will get some video of mine this weekend.

The noise you're hearing is probably the bottom gear in front of the gearbox (gear A 30t) rubbing on the spur gear. There is a little too much tolerance on that lower shaft that lets those gears move forward and back. The fix is to shim the lower input shaft in the rear gearbox area. Use 3x5x0.1 shims behind the e-clip that is behind the lower tail gear b.

I loved my MRX GT v1

43:35 it's easier to unscrew the end when rebuilding if a couple threads are left visible I've never used threadlock on any aluminium my main chassis has. Just tightening the set screws until the L shaped wrench starts to flex. Maybe not the healthiest thing for the threads though 🤔
