Even now i get insane chills and goosebumps when i hear this performance 😳❤ In my opinion it is one of the best performance on a talent show ever, and i have seen a lot of them.
AGT got the publicity they were seeking, Angelina Jordan got the North American exposure (and the fulfillment of her dream to sing for Simon) that she was seeking, and millions of people got to discover perhaps one of the greatest musical talents of the century. She is still in high School and her family has always said that her normal education and life, come first. Great reaction, thanks for featuring Angelina. No she did not win despite being absolutely brilliant but then again she's not from the US so she was never going to win. Another fantastic singer Daneliya Tuleshova entered AGT the next year and again should have won but didn't.; she was from Kazakhstan. Before that Charlotte Summers from Spain and before that Courtney Hadwin from the UK. All four were phenomenal but did not win and two had the golden buzzer. These four girls are all going strong and if you're looking for great talent to react to these are an excellent place to start.
It was kind of a combination, AGT wanted her, and She wanted to Perform for Simon. but her Uncle refused to sign any of the usual contracts and she was never going to sigh the winner's contract. The show waived those requirements, and technically she was a contestant, but if you listen to her second performance, it seemed to me that Simon dave her faint praise. But That's OK though, everybody got what they wanted and America was introduced to Angelina in a big way.
Sir, she was a competitor, but could not win. I read somewhere, she had turned tables on Mr. Cowel, so that all rights of her songs at the competition are HERs. Normaly Simon gets ALL the rights, but her needed he on the show, as the numbers of viewers dwindled over the last years. She has now a wonderful contract with a very good label, where she is the top VIP artist with card blanche. Stay save and healthy, German greetings.

This was a a version of America’s Got Talent called “The Champions” were champions and almost-champions of different seasons from all over the world come together to compete.
Although she did not win, and would appear like a robbery, it was more about business. I believe that Angelina was invited to the competition because she would increase viewership. At 13, her family did not want her to sign a contract. Since this show was designed to give the winner a contract, she was disqualified. I think that is why she did not make the top 5. I do not think that Angelina at this performance knew all of that. There is a visible difference in her attitude when she finishes "Yellow Brick Road". She looked resigned to the fact that she would not go any further. Nonetheless, they both came out winners. Viewership was raised and Angelina got to meet Simon and wow a much larger audience.

Not true, AGT CHAMPIONS no public vote 50 superfans voted whoever they were? ANGELINA was eliminated never reached the top 5 . she wasn't signed to any label whilst on the show , several months later she signed to republic records ( umg) aged 14 .

In summary, Angelina Jordan is destined to be one of the greatest singers to have ever lived. This is just my opinion, but if you listen closely to any of her stuff you will hear the greatness. She sings with a natural style. There is no acting, no showing off, there are no unnecessary runs, or big belty notes just for the purpose of saying "hey look at me sing". She once said "when I sing I go into a beautiful world in my head", and you can always hear the results of that. When Angelina sings it is pure soul, pure emotion, pure music.

AGT got the publicity they were seeking, Angelina Jordan got the North American exposure (and the fulfillment of her dream to sing for Simon) that she was seeking, and millions of people got to discover perhaps one of the greatest musical talents of the century. And a few weeks later she got a contract from Republic Records. They appear willing to allow Angelina to control whatever creative content is marketed. She and her family seem to have final say. She is still in high School and her family has always said that her normal education and life, come first. Simon Cowell's company; and Disney and many others have been offering her large contracts for years (since she won NGT in 2014). The Jordan Family finally allowed her to sign with Republic. So far, seems to be a great choice.
It's more amazing that at 13, this was her arrangement designed to fit the confines of a two-minute window on the show. She didn't win because her parents and her uncle/manager wouldn't sign the AGT standard contract and sign away all her rights to this and other performances. She won in that she got exposure to the American audience that has catapulted her to fame on RUclips, and a contract with Republic Records that allows her far more creative freedom than most record contracts. You should react to her cover of ALL I ASK by Adele. Its in her cover channel. It shows the incredible level of maturity that this young girl has reached as an artist. One may wonder, if she has reached this level at that young age, at what level she would be at Adele age.

it was a competition of winners from around the World, but since Angelina's team don't want to sign contracts with just anybody, her chances of winning were diminish (politics on the show). 50 people around the US were doing the voting... who they are? nobody knows). Also, people vote sometimes just to "help" a person or group if they think they need the financial help of the 1st prize. Of course Angelina deserve to win. Now she has a Mega contract with Republic Records.

To me it is clear she has perfect pitch. The clips from her at 7-9 years old always show she never ever produces a false note. She knows exactly what note to produce at what time instinctively.

Great reaction, thanks for featuring Angelina. No she did not win despite being absolutely brilliant but then again she's not from the US so she was never going to win. Another fantastic singer Daneliya Tuleshova entered AGT the next year and again should have won but didn't.; she was from Kazakhstan. Before that Charlotte Summers from Spain and before that Courtney Hadwin from the UK. All four were phenomenal but did not win and two had the golden buzzer. These four girls are all going strong and if you're looking for great talent to react to these are an excellent place to start.
It was kind of a combination, AGT wanted her, and She wanted to Perform for Simon. but her Uncle refused to sign any of the usual contracts and she was never going to sigh the winner's contract. The show waived those requirements, and technically she was a contestant, but if you listen to her second performance, it seemed to me that Simon dave her faint praise. But That's OK though, everybody got what they wanted and America was introduced to Angelina in a big way.

Sir, she was a competitor, but could not win. I read somewhere, she had turned tables on Mr. Cowel, so that all rights of her songs at the competition are HERs. Normaly Simon gets ALL the rights, but her needed he on the show, as the numbers of viewers dwindled over the last years. She has now a wonderful contract with a very good label, where she is the top VIP artist with card blanche. Stay save and healthy, German greetings.
Didn't even make the top 5, (shows what a farce these shows are), but she got what she wanted out of it - exposure to millions in the American market and a record deal on her own terms with Republic Records (not Simon!). She's too good for these silly competitions.

Although she did not win, and would appear like a robbery, it was more about business. I believe that Angelina was invited to the competition because she would increase viewership. At 13, her family did not want her to sign a contract. Since this show was designed to give the winner a contract, she was disqualified. I think that is why she did not make the top 5. I do not think that Angelina at this performance knew all of that. There is a visible difference in her attitude when she finishes "Yellow Brick Road". She looked resigned to the fact that she would not go any further. Nonetheless, they both came out winners. Viewership was raised and Angelina got to meet Simon and wow a much larger audience.
