If anyone is wondering, at 160,000mi my 2016 F150 Lariat had the fuel pump expire in Feb. 2024 (~7 years). Costs around $800-$900 to have the shop replace it. Symptom was my check engine light came on the day before and the next morning it would start, but shutdown after a few minutes. Each subsequent attempt to start resulted in a shorter idling time until eventually it would not start. Had to have to towed to a repair shop to have the work performed.

I am having the same problem now with my 2015 F150 (bought new in 2016).. I only have about 103,000 km (65,000 miles). I had no warning before the vehicle died. It just stalled out and attempts to restart resulted in low idle and then stalled. Couldn't even move the truck out of the way by its own power. The OBD code was P0627 - Fuel Pump 'A' Control Circuit/Open. I bought and replaced the Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) but that did not solve the problem. I am thinking it might be the fuel pump now. I am not looking forward to the towing and repair bills.

Fuel pump still carrying out its objective @145,000 miles.
I have had to replace the purge valve and today will be replacing the charcoal canister.

This would be a great video if the guy clearly didn't have the truck on a lift and the only way you could get your head up Next to the fuel tank, like that is if the drive line is disconnected.... So other than the fact that the video isn't possible, great video!

For those wondering, parts are interchangeable for F150 to Expedition is this yr range.
This process, however, is NOT the same for the Expedition.

If you plan on doing this without the truck on a lift, remove the driveshaft, otherwise its almost impossible

You have to call your neighbor over, that you don't like, to help you.
