- This is the first tutorial that I've ever made. I normally like to hide in the shadows and just do art. But during this pandemic I thought that this might give somebody someway to express themself in a different way. I've just started learning this software. This is everything I wanted to know when I was just learning. Hopefully this speeds up your learning process for this magical program. The adventure awaits! Please subscribe and hit the like button if you want to see more of these videos.

*Literally* the best total beginner tutorial I've seen. You answered so many questions I still had even after watching several other "beginner" tutorials. :D Thank you!
Wonderful. Hopefully more to come soon. I was posting a few on my Instagram Skycladsquirrelart I would love to see what you’ve created so far.

Man i love you :D
great tutorial!
Thank you so much.
thank you !!!!
Legend! Thanks
Hey man! Absolutely fantastic tutorial. So very much appreciated. I do have one question however.. Once the full render is complete, how to i convert the BMP files into a continuous MP4 (or some other video format)?
Just use any of those video editing programs (like premiere pro, davinci resolve, after effects, etc) to import your image sequence and make a video.
wow
Incredibly helpful! Thanks so much for this. Do you know if there's any way to allocate more power towards rendering or is it automatically using say all my cores/gpu?
I did some research. I couldn't find anything on video card gpu cores. I hope it will be a future feature.
You have way more formulas there than me. Why so?
Which version do you have, I don’t have the fold option in navigator
Hello. Ask. I can extract a 3d model, I need to get a 3d model for cinema 4d. Greetings.
Do you know if a gpu has any effect on this programs Realtime view and render speed, great video pal cheers
Hi Criddyla696, I don't believe it's using GPU at the moment. Hopefully soon. It would be amazing to run this all real-time.
@@skycladsquirrel Thanks Pal, yes it would be incredible, all the best in creation.
Hi! on the viewer, I could not locate the fold parameter, I only have scale and min R. Any advice?
Great video... Does anyone know what software I need to put all the hundreds of rendered images together so it becomes a video? after rendering, now I just have a file of full of pictures.
You can use Davinci Resolve or any video editing software. Just make sure the image sequence is in order numerically. Just drag the folder into the video timeline and you should be good to go. Cheers!
@@skycladsquirrel Thank you!
hey i have a question how do you get all those formulas? i only have a very limited amount of formulas idk why... either way i love the video thank you for it
You should have six tabs of Formula's built in. Then under the formulas, eleven sub tabs your formulas are in the subtabs. Hopefully that makes sense.
@@skycladsquirrel Hi, when you hover over each of the eleven subtabs in Formula 1 in the video, you get a dropdown menu of numerous formulas. In my case, I only get six underneath the first subtab and none underneath each of the remaining ten subtabs. Do you know why I could be seeing this?
Ok solved it. I removed the ini file in the executable's folder, and re-run the program. I now have them all. It seems I had a bad configuration.
Would exporting a Zbuffer (Depth pass) not work better for achieving a transparent background?
Not sure. I haven't researched that. I'm sure that would work.
note: if you mix escape time formulas with dIFS formula, the sofware will be like "nope fuck that" and crash. if that happens to you, thats probably the issue ^^'
Very cool and in depth tutorial, nice and slow and clearly explained, well done :)
How do you centre of the image like if you want to have nice symmetry to a piece of art? Does anyone know in the comments at all would be much obliged if you could help
In the top right corner, there is a tab for Position and Rotation, reset or get midpoint might do the trick. Cheers!
I agree. It is the best tutorial I've seen so far. But I get hung up at 6:20 because after I click the parameter button, there are no controls off to the right side. Anyone know why this might happen?
OK, Never mind! Figured it out, Onward!
I was just about to reply! Enjoy!
@@skycladsquirrel Thanks! I do have another question though, how does one get fractals moving into, and out of each other (or themselves)?
@@shivamoon108 This guy is the best. He's the guru of Mandelbulb. ruclips.net/video/15XYMlH-0JU/видео.html
@@shivamoon108 how? cant find the controls
When it came to scale the amazin box my parameter didnt show the scale cntrols can you tell me how to fix that please
i'm having the same problem.. only just installed..
@@Bringidon i finally found it i looked it up in a tutorial it's right there justo have to pinch in one little arrow in the low part
ok.. on the navigator window.. bottom right, there are 2 'arrow' buttons, these open up the bottom and side panels.. its the side panel we're after :)
@@Bringidon yeahhh!!!!
How do you convert the img sequence to a video???
Put all the rendered images into a folder. And then drag that folder onto the timeline on DaVinci Resolve or premiere.
@@skycladsquirrel I can't see the scale button on the navigator
What a great and easy tutorial!!
