peace to everyone on the pod...first time watching but def not the last..the energy is pure...very non-toxic...which is very needed...Bebe and Cece made gospel music beautiful...their approach was so unique...never trying to shame you or convince you to adhere to their message...rather show you how beautiful their anointing was..and left the decision to the listener..peace

Danetria Champ … it’s on RUclips … she was a new gospel artist in the middle 2000’s who sounded a lil like Aretha.. she also had sang in the church scene on the movie “This Christmas “
I don't like how nobody stuck up for Mariah like why are we taking this man's word? Was anyone else there to see this go down? And if it is true, it was so long ago so why would you paint Mariah in a bad light like that. Obviously they made up with when you believe, and had a great friendship afterwards. You never know who is in Mariah's ear, or if Mariah was just nervous about even approaching Whitney houston. Whitney Houston was and always will be a huge star, and Mariah was just coming out so to make it seem like Mariah thought she was better than her, is simply just insane. I would really like them to approach Mariah Carey about this situation so she could give some more insight about it she's never spoke ill of Whitney at all, so for Bebe to do something like this is very off-putting.

Exactly. People act like Mariah wasn't being heavily controlled by Tommy & his henchmen at the time. He loooooves to tell this story too. It's weird. The fact that Whitney didn't even want to do it, let's you know she felt some sort of way too. So if Mariah did ignore her, it shouldn't have been that big of an issue. Clearly both women felt something petty at the time, or maybe they didn't. Maybe MC really was told not to speak to her or anyone. At the end of the day, the two Queens loved each other after meeting. I remember an article stating that Mariah wanted to come onstage at the Billboard Awards with other artists & sing after she presented Gladys Knight with her award. A journalist said Mariah was standing, and Tommy shook his head no, and she sat back down. Who knows what she was going through back then
