I often wonder about the question that was asked about incredible singers. Why their careers don't meet their talent. Such as Keke Wyatt, Jasmine Sullivan, Mario, Tank etc. in comparison to a SZA, Rihanna, etc. Tank said it best on his Podcast. The music industry is a song generated industry. It has to be about the song. Luther, MJ, Whitney, and Mariah had great songs. Tank said sometimes because of his vocal ability, he can make a mediocre song sound good. But it will never be great. So the fix and getting with great songwriters, as the greats did. I.E. Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, etc. Who are those writers in this generation??
