@DIYWISCO make sure the control module is rated for what ever upgrade you're doing. So if you're doing a 24v upgrade you need a 24v control module or it'll just pop and start smoking. I learned the hard way. Luckily they sell for like 18 bucks so no big deal upgrading.
I have been trying to fix my kids dune racer for like 2 years now. Lol my son drove it first we kept in shed, my daughter was too small to drive by herself. It started where it worked would stop wait but it would go again but started happening more and more I assumed battery was going bad slowly..... Well a friend put a drill battery on and it went then stopped same thing and now months and can't get nothing out of it. My friend died so I have no help now and I bought multi meter but don't understand my results. I hate to trash it ik it's not many parts. I'm thinking when I look at where wires go into the tabs that hook to motor the wires look scuttled like fray pieces of the wire is not up in tab good. Can I just take wire out tabs, cut some rubber off and put it back.
I missed the part where you fixed the gears. It looked more like you replaced the entire motors and gear boxes. Not sure how that saves money. If you have a 3D printer there are files for printing new gears. There is also battery afapters for all of the major cordless power tool batteries. A 20v battery wakes those power wheels up.
First off most people will throw away the car after it breaks not knowing they can fix it, next it is cheaper to replace the gears and motor then buying a new car, and yes you can print a new gear if you have a 3d printer that costs more than the car wich most people do not have, and yes the car already has a 20v dewalt battery upgrade
Why is yours so fast? Did you upgrade the battery voltage?
Yes, it is running off of a 20 V Dewalt battery
@@DIYWISCO Do you have any guidance on that? I have some 18v MKE tool batteries, but not sure what all I need to get them to work
@dillonkondrick4545 here is the li k for the Milwaukee batteries the install is pretty straight forward amzn.to/4deSBWa
Does the extra voltage mess with the radio or other accessories?
Nope everything works as normal

Yes you should be able to cut the wires and reconnect with no issues
D they have remote control replacement s for these things ?
I don’t know you’ll have to search Amazon or call the manufacturer
How did you know that was the problem?
It kept blowing the fuse on the 20 V adapter and I could hear the motor try to run so I tore the gears apart and the gears were cracked
My man. You didn’t show yourself replacing the gears?
Did you just replace the whole tire or?
It came as a gear, motor combo! 😊
