I saw your vid on how to fix the supreme but l couldn’t get the screws out to check the heating coil. Pretty sure l burnt it when l turned it on & forgot to add water… a split second was all it took 🤷🏼♀️

Hi thank you for making this video! I own a mini but I could not remove the water tank, I am not sure if it comes off or not, I saw another video where they clean up water tank. I bought My mini about 2 years ago. Any ideas? Thanks!
The K Mini does not have a removable water tank. The K Mini Plus has a removable water tank. these two coffee makers looks really similar, the only difference between the Mini Plus has a removable water reservoir and also has a strong brew button.
So like an idiot I did the descaling wrong. I put the descaling solution in without the additional water. I’ve done so many rinses and even redid the descaling correctly this time and my coffee is still tastes like chemicals. Please help!
What if I use bottled water every time I brew a cup? Do I still need to see descale my keurig mini? 🤔
Great Question. Yes but maybe not as often. Bottle water still has some minerals in it just not as much as hard water. do not use Distilled water that has no minerals in it. Your Coffee maker uses the minerals to make the coffee taste good. And the distilled water can cause your machine to fail early. Bottled water is perfect and is recommended by Keurig. Great video. Have you removed the k pod reservoir and used the end of a paper clip to clean out the grounds in the needle? It says that in the directions. If so, how often do you have to do this? I have only had mine two months and have only used it about 30-40 times and the flow already seems limited?

Thanks for the tutorial. The label says use a ceramic cup only for the dispensing part. Was your measuring cup affected?
I have used this Plastic measuring cup several times and it might be making small cracks in the bottom of it but I have had these cups for over 5 years and have descaled many keurigs with it. The cups don't leak but they don't look brand new. The water does come out hot and they just don't want you to get hurt if you put something under it that could leak. I would use these measuring cups,they are plastic and come from Walmart.

@@JustADad Yeah I figured they'd be fine. I used my glass mug to collect the water from descaling 2 Keurig machines and its fine. My favorite is Peet's Cafe Domingo.

@@JustADad Its a medium roast that has a very smooth, sweet and creamy taste just with creamer alone, sugar makes it better too. Not fancy at all but its the best value I've found, 75 pods for about $40 at Sam's Club. I also buy Boyd's French #6 in smaller boxes that are a darker roast for a stronger cup every once in a while.
