This chat is so significant for anyone who is thinking of going into reselling. It is hard work - there are no short cuts. Sure, you may get lucky here and there but you will fill your storage with junk that doesn't sell. You need knowledge, knowledge, knowledge and that takes time, discipline and commitment. You start by looking at and using sell through rates on your phone but you will never scale up until that knowledge is burned into your neurons. Love all that you give to us. Very best wishes,Roger.

That’s crazy about the south pole jeans. Over 15 years ago I use to work in a outlet store that would sell them super cheap brand new. Then eventually they could reach up to 80 or 90% off. That was years and years ago though. Not many bought them back then. If I wanted I could have got them up to 90%off plus an employee discount up to 30%. I wonder which ones are popular today.
Hi Tech, I want to first say thank you for giving back to the community especially when you were doing it alone! My business has improved dramatically after watching you and Chris. I wanted to ask you, do you catalog every purchase you make on an excel sheet? For example I bought $30 worth of clothes at a garage sale today, should I catalog each shirt I get for $2 or is that an unnecessary use of my time?
Yes & no. If you have a good understanding of your numbers it is unnecessary to log every single one. If you do not have a good understanding of your numbers you should log everything individually and manually to really see where the money is going
On the size difference from tag to actual measured. If it is NOT on a leather patch like Levi's, I cut off the size tag if its the nylon type tags, if there is a difference of more than 1 inch. After doing this my return rate and questions about size went way down. Just my 2 cents.

@@technsports There are none, that's why I asked. There are other selvedge denim jackets listed, but not Diesel or a brand I'd recognise. Starting price on those is around £60 I believe. Taking that into consideration, asking for £100 wouldn't seem that crazy. What do you think? Thanks
I canceled on an order a while ago because I didn’t allow for international orders and I saw the person was sending it through a freight forwarder to Hong Kong. I’ve heard of other people shipping it to the freight forwarder but then for whatever reason it doesn’t get to the buyer and the buyer makes a claim on it. It was an expensive item so I didn’t want to risk it. I thought it was a scam at the time. The persons account said Hong Kong so idk why they even allowed him to look at my listing. Needless to say I got negative feedback for that one.
A freight forwarder is technically not an international purchase because it's going to an American address. We did a call in the group all about our seller protections. Freight forwarding purchases lose all buyer protections & you are not responsible for the item after it reaches the freight forwarder.
This exact thing happened to me. The address was in Cali but the name was a business. I canceled the order and got negative feed back. The reason I canceled was I googled the company and the reviews said how they were scammers.

How do you find the store name for Ebay sellers to learn pricing, how to list etc.,? New to selling (have not started yet) and trying to decide on what "niche" to specialize and purchase. Seems many RUclips people who have video on Selling they don't give you their Ebay store name for one to learn on their own.
Why would you learn somebody else's store when you can learn how ebay works instead? Sorry I’m new but when you say the racks, can you give me an example of what store names you’re talking about?
Racks. Goodwill, Savers, Salvation Army, etc.
@@technsports I see, I thought you meant Walmart or regular department stores
@@kickitg some people do shop there & can make money. I think the thrifts are easier
Another one, you go Ms. Carrie.👖🎃
Carrie is the best!
Hey do you mind telling me what flea markets you go to? I live by you and can’t find any cool flea markets besides the swap shop
All of them. They all have something. Just got to hit it
@@technsports how good is the swap shop for you in south Florida? Every time I go just seems like a lot of crap
Another great listen! Carrie and Kyle are smashing it 🙌
Thanks mate!
July jeans sales, to me, are back to school sales.
Makes total sense!

OMG - years ago my dad wanted me to sell his baseball cards. I'm still considering but really I have no interest and no frame of reference for that lol
Could be big money, could be worthless. Either way will take a lot of work to figure it all out
Top Rated Plus; free returns? how does that work out?
Works out great for me. Millions of dollars of sales per year doing both.
I have that special friend who keeps trying to give me Beanie Babies. She really means well. But wow.
Really tough in those situations.
120......woof.....and here we are at 3....baby steps LOL! 😮😂😅

Thank you for checking out the video I hope you enjoyed it!
I don’t care what u say, I know I couldn’t list 120 😂 Even if my life depended on it, maybe 30 years ago but I doubt it.
😂
what set up do you use to have your computer out on the treadmill
Carrie actually shows her in her video which is linked above in the comments. In the video about doing 120 listings a day. Mine is pretty much the same thing as her set up. It's right towards the beginner of her video
@@technsports thank you sir. I purchase truckloads of typically Amazon mediums (liquidation) so I’m a little bit of a different seller than you guys. But I’ve heard about you for a long time, and I appreciate the value you bring. Keep plugging along brother.
@@willyumyum2264 appreciate that. I have a great Amazon seller on the podcast in a couple of weeks. It's all the same best practices works for everything. Check that one out for sure! Appreciate you
