I love what you're doing with your droid build. What servos are you using in the dome for the pie panels?

Thanks. I am using super cheap 9g servos. I am probably going to regret that.

Good morning Maker Dan! In some of your previous episodes it looks like you were building the Matt Zwarts lifter mechanisms for your dome. But then I see you using these pie hinges. I tried the same thing and found these hinges did not work with the lifter mechanism because the hindges are more narrowly spaced and do not fit in the pre-designed slots of the Matt Zwarts lifters. Did you find a work around, but I really like this combination of the two?

Hi Jason. That's a very good question. Well, the sad thing is I built the mechanism before I built the dome. Now I find out the mechanism is too tall for my dome. My plan is to complete my dome and then rebuild the mechanism to fit my dome or not use the mechanism at all. I haven't decided yet. Let me know how your build is progressing 😁.

Hey just wanted to let you know I love your channel; I am in the process of making c3po like you did and love how you explain everything. I am planning on putting him in a sports car and going for a ride.
I have a few questions? first thing can you send me a diagram on your power source and where you hook it up there looks like several places to connect I think ? p.s. I am not an electronics person and also maybe a picture of your board set up.
