That baler was a good buy. This sales shows what good clean well cared for equipment can bring. No sales like this in Michigan anymore. Combine was a cheap parts machine. That 101 was a neat machine. That would have been nice for our tractor club.
I bought a 56 series several years ago, had to go north of Birmingham Alabama to get it. Paid 1400 hundred for it. Lots of planter plates. I've spent about 1400 getting it in perfect condition. Love my 56 series. Repairs on Fertilizer box.
Small jackpot of a sale. 2 point spring tooth harrow. Cycle bar mower. Nice tractors. Taken care of his stuff. I don't know enough about the difference in the 856 engine and the 1206 engine.
That sickle mower seemed high but the planter looked pretty good for the price. I saw one on marketplace where the wheels and runners were half gone from sitting in the dirt. I liked the drill - pull rope was never a problem but a lot depends on distance to the farm. If you have to load on a trailer it isn't worth it.
Back in 1984 I bought a 5088 at a IH dealership close out it had never been sold used as a demo had around 200 hours for 21000. Sold it it in 1991 for 19500. on my farm sale with 3500 hours the only thing happened to it is the rear end went out at around 800 hours but was still under warranty so treated me well Early 80s was kinda crazy on IH dealership across the country
Excellent video Farmall 💥 a lot of interesting prices 💪 as for the thumb downers are you allowed to name them on the channel 🤔 and then leave the Red Power 💪💥 fans to have some fun with them 😀😀
The 856,,,looked like a turbo sticking out the bottom of the side hood, does the 806/856 have the same engine as the 12’s? Just turbo/no-turbo? And what the hell kind of battery set up was that? Also, you NEED that 5088! We had a couple, I can still remember what they smelled like brand new in the cab
@@FarmallFanatic Mine with the M&W Turbo is all of that if not more. The pump has been played with and been that way for quite a while. Very nice tractor to run.
It's crazy some of the prices these days & what people are willing to pay. But every now& then you stumble on a deal. M Farmall with brand new tires all the way around $1900. One new titan 12-4-38 is $1600 these days.
On that IH backhoe, it may have been a steal, but in all honesty, it may be a nightmare? I used to own a 3414 and it was a tank! The issue with them is parts, especially the swing motor on the hoe and the pin it rides on. It does not use 2 cylinders for left and right swing, it has a gear with a keyway on it and the same pin that holds the entire hoe to the back. The only place I have seen this type of swing on a backhoe is IH? Without going into a long explanation, that pin usually works well and will last for years if maintained. HOWEVER, if it isn't you have just bought a new nightmare Lol. If the pin is welded fast to the swing gear and key, run away as fast as you can. Just taking the hoe off is a job because it is built 10 times heavier than needed and weighs almost as much as the tractor it is attached too, Lol. After that the pin has to be spray welded to restore its diameter and a few other things because a new one is harder to find than chicken lips and hens teeth. We have a machine shop and still decided not to do it. if that says anything?🤔 🙃🤔
806 are designed to use ether to prevent long cranks. Not that I like it, but just saying. The audience is wearing coats, so it's not like a 80 degree day.
Nice Auction. Thanks for showing us around. I have to get to one of these events one of these days…
Nice of you to spend a little time with your fans

Another gem FF, the 88 series seemed to good to be true 😂thx for the auction footage 💥🇺🇸💥

I also like the way they look
Good deal on the small combine
That 101 combine was a steal for the engine ....if its what I'm thinking
Small jackpot of a sale. 2 point spring tooth harrow. Cycle bar mower. Nice tractors. Taken care of his stuff. I don't know enough about the difference in the 856 engine and the 1206 engine.
Yeah this was a good one
You got me on that one.
Great Red sale
That 88 will make someone a great newer tractor.
Good sale, thanks for covering it. And thanks for the plug 😮
Yeah, I figured you earned it
Some great buys for a fast hitch guy.
I love your videos keep it up
Thanks 👊

Yeah I thought it went for enough money

Great sale hope the combines don't go to a demo derby hopefully somebody can get some use out of them
I'm pretty sure people bought them for use
Lots of nice stuff there. Lots of good tractors. I like the 230. I hope the combines didn't go to a demolition derby competitor.
Well if they did that makes the useful ones worth more money
Nice auction. Thanks for the video sir!
Thanks for sticking out the rain
Excellent video Farmall 💥 a lot of interesting prices 💪 as for the thumb downers are you allowed to name them on the channel 🤔 and then leave the Red Power 💪💥 fans to have some fun with them 😀😀
Unfortunately, i'm not allowed to list them
I think you should pick up the two row planter. My dad used to plant quite a bit with a JD 290 two row.
All kinds of Red Power!!
Good Auctioneer reminds me of the guy off of Ferris Bueller's Day Off Bueller Bueller😅😅😅😅
Ahahahahahahaha yep
The auctioneer in this video reminds me of the guy off of Ferris Bueller's Day Off Bueller Bueller Bueller😂😂😂😂
🤣
Pull that with ur cub fanatic l😊
Was kinda bummed, went down to do a preview of this sale and the tractors were all put away. Look like some nice machines
So much rain this year...some of them didn't have rain caps
856 and 1256 both had the 407 it was just turboed in the 12 for the hp difference.
Yes you can still get a lot of h p out of an 856
The 856,,,looked like a turbo sticking out the bottom of the side hood, does the 806/856 have the same engine as the 12’s? Just turbo/no-turbo?

806 brings more than the 856. There was a day you could hardly get rid of the 06 series in the late seventies and eighties.
856 didn't start without ether, sale stopper
I've seen guys really go over combines before they buy them. I'd think that corn going through would be harder on them than other grains.
Yeah, they can go through them, but until you get them to the field under load...You really don't know what's going on
First time I've seen a C with rear hydraulics (the 230). Man that would match my 450 nicely.
It was a nice machine
A little wet today but it was well worth the trip!
Definitely
Geno did you get a pulse on what the kicker wagons went for? I couldn’t make it to the sale, maybe I don't wanna know.
They were all over the board
@@FarmallFanatic as usual. Thanks. Great video!
Its a251 2 row planter. I've got one just like it. That would look good on your farm
They are nice
Strong money for the 5088 but a strong tractor too!!
Same with the 806!!
I think the eighty eight series brought what it was worth
Now they say the 856 was re-engined with a 1206 engine, then that would be a DT-361,a smaller engine ci wise than factory.
Just throw a turbo on it and you're good
@@FarmallFanatic If a true 1206 engine it should have a turbo from the factory
Thanks Geno , the 856 with the 1206 motor would the drive train hold up to the added hp’s ? Awesome content as always 🇺🇸
Yeah, most guys turbo the 856, and were cranking about a 130hp

Different paint schemes
8’s and 12’s had the same engine, the 12’s had a turbo, 06 had a 361, 56 had 414
Can't remember what he said they swapped it out for
❤RED POWER❤
Having trouble getting rid of the product tab on my television screen not happy
I'm sure you know, products and commercials is how we get reimbursed for our expenses
The tires alone on the 1460 combine were worth $1500!
That's what I was saying
owner went down in cubes on the 856 , interesting
Them tractors all held there own price wise in my opinion. But where do you find a good used tractor these days
Right it's rare
Was that 544 a gear drive?
Yes
Assuming the 806 was near the end of the 806 run, with the 56 grill.

Did you catch he sale Oliver66farmboy went to? Red power
No I will go check it out
You could have upgraded your combine Geno ...... Lesgo Brandon
My combine is now brand new, which is not an upgrade. Those things are money pits
You didn't buy them all???
You need to watch my second to last video
I would have bought that combine for the front tires for that price gees
Would have ran you 2 grand to haul it
I had a motor replaced in mine and cost me 9000

53 I guess :D
Ether destroys an engine
You ever get a BN yet?
Nah... bought an 826 and a 400 though
Are you bound to a Ball and Chain at home?
Not even close
My father has always said cut on dime and leave u 11 cents change.
Well, the turn itself has to cost you something lol
Acres hard to make a living off of
No doubt, some year great, some years bad
