Red Power | HIGH Prices. Restored antique farm tractors for sale at auction near me. Antique farm tractors for sale at auction near me. #farmallfanatic #farmauction #auction
Yes. One of my mowers has a hitch on it and a place to transfer the PTO beyond. I got a guy who said he’d sell me an ih crimper for 100, but I’ll never use it
Corvairs were 'unsafe at any speed' due to the suspension design, tended to get unruly and roll. They may also have still had straight steering shafts that worked like javelins in collisions when they did go off the road.
People dumping our iffy dollars and getting assets that will last, and red lasts. It's more useful than gold too. I snapped up every cheap ford I could, as long as it ran well, the last couple years, before I'm priced out..
Base price on a 63 Lincoln Continental was $6000.00... What's a new lincoln go for today? Or a caddy? New 60hp open station tractor is close to $40,000.00 today. Wheelbarrows full of cash for a loaf of bread might be making a come back.
If it's something you are going to use to make a living with, and it works as good as new, I'm good with up to half the price of a brand new equivalent.
This viewer of yours does like Dodge Rams. Those selling the stuff made out like bandits. That's for sure. Like you said, the 560 is not a 100% restoration. It's not bad but not perfect either.
Wow that 560 went for $14500 I never dreamed it would have gone that high . With that H going for $4800 I feel like I got a decent deal on my M and it has a lot more options . Everything seemed to go high for the most part . Do people have that much cash when they buy stuff over $20K or do they get a pre-approved loan ? Thanks for sharing !
I'm sorry It took me so long to respond.,but I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. The later 560s did have more head bolts from the factory. It always amazes me how much more people will pay for paint. The super M TA was probably the best buy of the day, even without the ta. If you're handy, and can install the TA yourself. One can be installed for just under a grand.
Before I bought my NH 489 haybine in 1983, I cut all my alfalfa hay with a NH 456 pull type mower with a conditioner hitched behind. My neighbor said from the highway it resembled a train making those right hand corners. It trailed perfectly making corners.
We pulled a crimper behind our sickle. People must have thought it was the last one earth for that price. I have international expert should rebuild the whole thing for that.
Some deep pockets at this sale wow refund checks must have hit the bank over there. Some nice equipment but too rich for my blood but it’s fun to see and drool on. Thanks for taking us along!
There ya had a crowd with deep pockets. I think they were trying to prove to each other who was the richest. The prices were grossly inflated. The buyers will never see their money back.
That 100 Mower with the hitch on the back was for a New Holland hay conditioner. If you look closer you would have seen the pto mounted on the drive pully. We used that combination on a super C back in the early 60's before the hay Bine. That was a great mower price. 560 was a crazy price someone paid . Guess they really needed it bad. Oh I am a mopar fanatic as well. lol
The sikle mower with hitch connected to the back. Was to pull a hay conditioner to it. At one time you would mow your hay with a sickle mower let hay sit fore around 5 dys. With the invention of a conditioner that would roll the moisture out, two or three dys. later you could bale. Later technology the Two pieces of equipment were combined into one. As they are today. This was done during the 70s sometime.
I was looking back at one of your videos from Fall of 2022 titled Red Power Low Prices and had we only known we could have teamed up and bought every tractor at that sale and held them for the winter and at least doubled our money. Who’d of thunk it!😮
Crazy high prices! This Lancaster boy didn't have a big enough wallet to go to this sale lol. I can't believe that 560 price 😮. My neighbor still farms with a 4430 with the soundguard cab, it's a beautiful tractor to this day, he loves it.
I have a 2016 Ram I bought new it's got 207,000 miles on it I haven't done anything mechanically to it have a deck over trailer 18ft flat with a 5ft beaver tail and it handles it with no problem its a 1500 with a hemi & a 3:92 gear ratio
No they went to coil springs in 2016 they make air bags to go inside the coils you can run between 5 & 35 lbs of air 35lbs gives you an extra 1000 lbs of tongue weight I usually run 30lbs I figure that's around 750lbs of tongue weight and my truck sets level my 2 tractors together weight around 8500lbs
Good day FF > Wos sometimes u go to sale , inflated prices. Boy 560, I would be worried. 14,500. Farmall H 4800. I wonder if they would have not said anything about ta, what it would have brought ? Up here in Ontario, we have inflation going on (too many dollars chasing to few goods} Thanks for now
People behind the scenes buying up everything to cripple the heartland from returning. Just like when they split up the tractor and the attachments. They degraded the price of the tractor for anyone, with no implements. Most anyone would jack the price up on the implements just to spite; the auction knows this.
You would think people would google "make and model auction results" to get a feel of what they are intending to bid on goes for, and make adjustments for condition. At least that's what I do.
Brilliant video an a lot of high prices for the seller I understand you probably knew a lot about the 560 but me personally had too much paint 🙄🤣🤣Red Power 💥💪👍
Out in the Dakotas we always cut the prairie hay with sickle bar mowers and pulled a dump rake . the dump rake picked up mostly the previous swath that you just drove on with your tractor and the mower body. Sometimes a larger rake stuck out to the right far enough to pick up about a third of the new swath but you couldn't stick the rake out too far if you wanted to turn a square corner.
Excellent video Gino :) not sure company made them but one never seen in Auction sales surprises me it sled had rebars 12 them for ground pulling on drawbar on sled to chains on Shape tongue hitch on square bales baler sled hold up 24 bales and had rope to tractor tie up open back hatch door when empty load ! When bales empty hatch slap on hitches on left and right sides! The be size of a long box of full size pickup and height of box sides too ! Why ask about 3 strong men light this Sled if not any loader tractor can with 2 chains and could tell color was sled it was super rusted up also 8 foot by 6 foot length too but made out tube and channel iron for frame work ! Remember hall on wagon to feilds because pick up truck wouldn't work! And weight of sled about 800 pounds!
Like anything with farming there are diehards with anything. I am a Dodge guy and wouldn't have it any other way. My daily driver is a '17 Ram half ton with a Hemi and its great, my '03 Dodge has a Hemi and besides basic PM it needed an alternator, water pump, and a front axle rebuild in 380,000 miles. The downside is they don't get the greatest fuel mileage and they come from the factory with rust. If you're happy with your truck I'm happy for you, to hell with the haters.
Whoa… I think I lost money just watching this. I guess it’s good for you. Your collection just went up in value. My only issue is that I don’t think those tractors will ever get worked again, and that is just not right. They belong in the field, not behind a velvet rope on a carpet. Hope you got some field work done this weekend. Weather was perfect.
On the 100 mower, the mowers with rear hitch many times were used to pull a hay crimper to crush the hay for quicker hay drying.
Yes. One of my mowers has a hitch on it and a place to transfer the PTO beyond. I got a guy who said he’d sell me an ih crimper for 100, but I’ll never use it
I'm stunned by a lot of those prices, wow.
Yeah i'm hoping that it's not a sign of things to come
10k for the 340? Wow those prices are out of control!
Corvairs were 'unsafe at any speed' due to the suspension design, tended to get unruly and roll. They may also have still had straight steering shafts that worked like javelins in collisions when they did go off the road.
😳
Would still rather have one over this new unreliable ugly crap that's way over priced.
It was basically Ralph Nader bs for publicity, destroyed the Corvair line, were nice handling cars
Hitch behind the mower was for pulling a hay conditioner crimper
That 560 was nuts
People dumping our iffy dollars and getting assets that will last, and red lasts. It's more useful than gold too.
I snapped up every cheap ford I could, as long as it ran well, the last couple years, before I'm priced out..
That is true our money is actually worth nothing
Now just they need to buy all the cultivators and the two way plows etc for the super A
I think the guy did
I was looking at tractor data on that 560. It said in 63 brand new it was $5500
Base price on a 63 Lincoln Continental was $6000.00... What's a new lincoln go for today? Or a caddy?
New 60hp open station tractor is close to $40,000.00 today.
Wheelbarrows full of cash for a loaf of bread might be making a come back.
I agree
Red Power 💪🏼❤️ don't be sour.
Especially at the gap
HOLE-E-$HIT!!!!! Paint sure is high priced your-a-way!!
😆
When I go to a auction to buy a tractor I buy it regardless of price. Just bought a 1486 for 28000
NOT ME
That’s just foolish lol
If it's something you are going to use to make a living with, and it works as good as new, I'm good with up to half the price of a brand new equivalent.
Rake
560's aren't worth that kind of money. They just weren't a great tractor compared to the rest of the Farmalls.
I agree
@@FarmallFanatic Saw a 560 diesel 282 with added turbo, suitcase weights and wf sold for 15000 on Bates co signment online auction almost 2 years ago.
Ram 2500 with cummins is best truck I've owned.
Stunned by the price on the 560. Someone really wanted that one!
560 waaaaay tooo high these tractors are going ridiculously too high I think
This viewer of yours does like Dodge Rams. Those selling the stuff made out like bandits. That's for sure. Like you said, the 560 is not a 100% restoration. It's not bad but not perfect either.
Too many things glossed over on the 560
Wow that 560 went for $14500 I never dreamed it would have gone that high . With that H going for $4800 I feel like I got a decent deal on my M and it has a lot more options . Everything seemed to go high for the most part . Do people have that much cash when they buy stuff over $20K or do they get a pre-approved loan ? Thanks for sharing !
Most of the time they just write a check
Beautiful day + restored tractors = crazy high prices. Spring Fever!
I wonder what the prices would have been if it were raining?
Or October
I'm sorry It took me so long to respond.,but I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. The later 560s did have more head bolts from the factory. I should have bought it and put it in the back of the barn for winter
You better start looking for that little old lady who’s husband just died. These prices are crazy.
Before I bought my NH 489 haybine in 1983, I cut all my alfalfa hay with a NH 456 pull type mower with a conditioner hitched behind. My neighbor said from the highway it resembled a train making those right hand corners.
It trailed perfectly making corners.
Oh i'm sure it did
Wow the economy must be strong in PA. 560 did look nice though. Thanks FF for the video coverage . 🇺🇸
It's a fake economy
We pulled a crimper behind our sickle. People must have thought it was the last one earth for that price. I have international expert should rebuild the whole thing for that.
120 grand is awful money for a second hand tractor. I think id rather buy a good older tractor like the deer that came up right after.
I bet you pulled the hair out of your head when you saw that 560 sold for $14000 I seen the 1466 sale cheaper and that
$14,500 ...I was stunned at 11k
@@FarmallFanatic tell you the truth the people who where bidding they had big money and bidding stupid $7500 to $8000 was a plenty for that tractor
Holy moly, you weren't kidding high prices! Geez.
Some deep pockets at this sale wow refund checks must have hit the bank over there. Some nice equipment but too rich for my blood but it’s fun to see and drool on. Thanks for taking us along!
Pretty big refund checks lol
There ya had a crowd with deep pockets. I think they were trying to prove to each other who was the richest. The prices were grossly inflated. The buyers will never see their money back.
I mean when it hit ten thousand dollars I thought okay it'll stop there
The hitch they wold have pulled a crimper
That 100 Mower with the hitch on the back was for a New Holland hay conditioner. If you look closer you would have seen the pto mounted on the drive pully. We used that combination on a super C back in the early 60's before the hay Bine. That was a great mower price. 560 was a crazy price someone paid . Guess they really needed it bad. Oh I am a mopar fanatic as well. lol
Right on 😁
Hitch is for pulling a crimper to squeeze the juice out of the hay
People buy them and ship them straight to east Moline and sell them
Too much for that 4430! $22K at the most.
Agree
You would hook a crisper behind as you cut the hay.
The sikle mower with hitch connected to the back. Was to pull a hay conditioner to it. At one time you would mow your hay with a sickle mower let hay sit fore around 5 dys. I think Ram is one heck of a pickup. You'll like 👍 it nothing with that buy
Yeah i'm completely happy with it
Maybe the 560 was heirloom. Only explanation that’s plausible for that price IMHO.
Yea
A crimper goes behind the IH cycle mower.
Hay conditioner behind the mower.
Wow they wanted them more than me. I like them but not that much. 👍
Same
Those spotters are a pain in the arse,, all they do is confuse the issue
I was looking back at one of your videos from Fall of 2022 titled Red Power Low Prices and had we only known we could have teamed up and bought every tractor at that sale and held them for the winter and at least doubled our money. Who’d of thunk it!😮
most definitely
That's where I bought that fifty seven cub with the cultivators

Super high
I was starting to think burnout and whistling D were bidding on the 560.😁
Me too
I have a 2016 Ram I bought new it's got 207,000 miles on it I haven't done anything mechanically to it have a deck over trailer 18ft flat with a 5ft beaver tail and it handles it with no problem its a 1500 with a hemi & a 3:92 gear ratio
Do you use a weight distribution kit
No they went to coil springs in 2016 they make air bags to go inside the coils you can run between 5 & 35 lbs of air 35lbs gives you an extra 1000 lbs of tongue weight I usually run 30lbs I figure that's around 750lbs of tongue weight and my truck sets level my 2 tractors together weight around 8500lbs
I'm convinced are world is cracking up!Will we still be around in let's say 2 more years??
At this rate, no
You’ve got some Ram fanatics floating around!!
I bought one last year lol
I've had the best luck with my rams
Those were some nice tractors. If you go trout fishing in your creek, I’d like to see it in a video. That’s a really nice piece of land you’ve got.
Definitely

Exactly
Was this a Mecum auction?
You would think so
That auctioneer is enough to make me go home.
Liar lol
@@FarmallFanatic 😆
One of the best caydence ive ever heard
Not much of a auctioneer !
No way. This auctioneer has a great tempo and understandable. The only thing I didn't like he worked the bid to long for the extra buck.
If I’m gonna spend $14,500 on a tractor it’s gonna be a big one. Wow that’s crazy
Exactly
If you buy the 560 and TA
Is out do you fix it or do you have it fixed?
In the old days, I fix it. Now, I'm on the road so much, it might never get done
That 560 s just a case of more money than rands
If they don’t like a Ram, then ya know they’ve never owned one……
Right
Why didn't they start them up?
Judging by the prices, they are too cherry, don't want to run up the hours and burn the gold plating off the internals. Lol
Maybe had a DuPont overhaul!
Wow someone has deep pockets or they overestimate the value. Any thoughts?
At this point anything's possible could be both of those in combination
I didn’t know international made a vari width plow. Interesting thanks for the info!
It was pretty cool to see
Only a fool would pay that much for that old Dodge Ram.
That's what my buddy said and he Sells them
That’s what u need lol

I'm hoping it's just a one off.
@@FarmallFanatic where was this auction? Consignment sale or a retirement or something like that ?

They said eleven or twelve hundred hours but still
Not so on head bolts, all 282 use same head gasket. Later 560 etc have over center pto clutch, the handle snaps.
In my neck of the woods, 8k for the Super MD in that condition probably isn't too bad.
No I agree with that
Is the 560 a family feud?
No a rich guy bought it
The prices were shocking. I figured that area would bring strong prices, but not quite that high!

That draw bar and PTO shaft are for a pull behind crimper or crusher on that 100 mower.
