Since you mentioned Squatch253 im gonna hit the subscribe button without thinking twice. Love to see the close up of the Metro van. Fun fact lot of these international trucks where used a lot in fire departments and send also over seas. Maybe the Scouts where used by forest workers? Not exactly sure but someone will correct me if im wrong. I don't know even what would be more interesting for me, the tractors or the car section? The car section had lot of interesting vehicles that are mostly forgotten or out of existence by a long shot.
Thanks for the sub and the view. I went to trade school for farm diesel mechanics back in the late 70s when some of these machines weren't that old and some were new.
@@1crazynordlander Did you see also any foreign brands that where used beside IH Farmalls? I find the high crop, corn picker and beans cultivator the most interesting ones. Would like to hear more of what was it like to work with machines in the 70s.
@@SuperMAZ007 I did not see any foreign made equipment at the show. I farmed right out of trade school then was hired by a diesel injection shop. I worked on Roosa Master rotary injection pumps that were on various farm equipment of the time. The calibration fluid messed with my body so I had to go onto something else until I landed a parts manager job at a GM car dealer. After that I got into computers and networking. I still do lot of my own repairs on equipment yet.
I actual got to meet pete and he is such a nice dude
I totally agree. We talked for quite a while Saturday morning before he went to the front of the sheep barn.
Beautiful IH pickups. Cornbinders...
Hi there, new subscriber here. I like farming channels and I caught yours online.
Thanks for the sub! I help my nephews harvest in the fall. I live on a small farm that my nephews operate.
