Uhhh u can have it tuned and still have a warranty. You must be older then 40 arent you... it's ok I'll explain brother. These days you have a handheld tuner. You flash the tune for when you wanna drive fast. And when you go in for warranty work. You flash the stock tune back on. Thee end.
@@YoDooDSup I know how it works I worked for Lincoln and mercury for 27 years they can give you a hard time if you have an engine failure seen it happen. They look for any reason and have a way to check pcm to see if it's been flashed.

If you have a new st , with a tune - then yes you’ll slap the shit out of the expedition . My st with intake , zfgracing tune , and E mix , was stupidly fast
If they are in the Denver area with an altitude of 4000+feet, the NA Mustang will suffer more of a power loss due to the thinner air than the bosted Navigator.
I want to see what they're going to be able to do with the 3.0 Twin Turbo in the new Explorer. Since It's smaller (I know stlll a Big SUV) it would be more appealing to me. I could actually fit the Explorer in my garage lol. The Expedition would take up all my room.
Plus I think the new Explorer looks amazing. I am also so happy it went back to RWD architecture even if it isn't a true body on frame offroading macchine, it is a very refined smooth and decent offroader.
I'd love to play with the tuning on mine but I'm too afraid of Ford dumping my warranty when they find out I'm tuned. God forbid you experience engine failure and they know you've played with the computer. Even if you reflash back to stock after, they will see the minimal key cycles and deny the claim. Oh well, its fun to imagine the possibilities!
You would need a cam upgrade or supercharger to get close to this performance. But not at the price compared to the Ecoboost upgrade, it'll be way more.

What's it do just with 93 octane - that E50 stuff is nutty to do
The 3.15 gear ratio is for the 10 speed and highway driving
Need to get my truck tuned waiting for warranty to expire. Really wakes up that EcoBoost.
They look for any reason and have a way to check pcm to see if it's been flashed.
currently browsing videos of the expedition after finding out my dad has two turbos under the hood and the same engine as a ford gt
I have a explorer sport tuned exhaust cai and map bar sensor. And I don’t think I’d beat a 5.0. But I’d smoke that super heavy expedition. For a snack.
How do you figure when in the video they run almost the same?
Spare parts exactly 😂😂😂
LoL you would get your ass handed to you.
If you have a new st , with a tune - then yes you’ll slap the shit out of the expedition .
My st with intake , zfgracing tune , and E mix , was stupidly fast
Mustang 0-60 supposed to be 4 sec.
Driver mod needed
If they are in the Denver area with an altitude of 4000+feet, the NA Mustang will suffer more of a power loss due to the thinner air than the bosted Navigator.
I read somewhere the engine Bay for the Expy was designed for a V8, I love the tuning but would Love to see a V8 option..
Could you imagine the new 7.3 gas v8 in that, mated to the new heavy duty 10 speed auto?
akmarksman 7.3 twin turbo “EcoBoost” V8 with the 10 speed and 4.10 gears. Muhahahaha
What rear end ratio did the Mustang have? 3.73?
I want to see what they're going to be able to do with the 3.0 Twin Turbo in the new Explorer. Since It's smaller (I know stlll a Big SUV) it would be more appealing to me. I could actually fit the Explorer in my garage lol. The Expedition would take up all my room.
Plus I think the new Explorer looks amazing. I am also so happy it went back to RWD architecture even if it isn't a true body on frame offroading macchine, it is a very refined smooth and decent offroader.
Andrea has badass reaction time of the line 🤣 big difference on the times
Can you do these mods to a four wheel drive and what's the HP with regular pump gas
Yes, you can see all power gains st 5startuning.com
does e85 equal worst gas mileage?
it probably costs more when you factor in mpg.
trippplefive worse mpg
It’s less mileage but e85 is around 35% less at least in my market
They tuned this turbos to a safe level
How much is the tuned kit?
Yea. Till the crank or a rod snaps in half
Too bad it's only an 1/8 mile. I'd be interested in seeing how aerodynamics play at higher speeds.
442 miles on mine with a loaded 5 star tune...
What can be done for the GM suvs? Something similar price to performance like this?
Aaron Lothamer no, they still use the way less powerful 5.3
You would need a cam upgrade or supercharger to get close to this performance. But not at the price compared to the Ecoboost upgrade, it'll be way more.
Bradley Zoshak might not be as powerful but it will be around for the long haul.
Bradley Zoshak could opt for the 6.2l too
@@samsquires2877 I wouldn't say that, the old LS based motors were solid, these ecotec motors are shit.
Does 5 Star sale just a tuning kit for the 3.5 Ecoboost Expedition?
Yes
- I think that was the package they showed for $699.
120 on the dash.. Not the typical 160 yikes this throws redflags for me especially tuned like that.
I wonder how the transmission in that expedition will hold up.
Joseph Montgomery pretty good the 10 speed is strong
Will any of this void warranty?
Basically the SVT Thunder
Might wanna do that to my expedition
Apples to apples the stang should have a 3.5 as well
Too hot in South Carolina
Nope
Is this the V6 Twin Turbo or the V8?
