Love to see Dynas and Harley’s on the hoonigan page. It’s a lot more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow, and 99% of riders can’t ride. That being said, the most fun I’ve had on 2 wheels happened with pissed off hot rodded v twins between my legs.

The last thing you want to do with a brand new motorcycle engine is a burnout. They have a long break in period

Kind of reminds me of what I was gonna do with my buddy's wrecked Sporty.
Buell-ify the powerplant, put the stock forks off my Aprilia on it with dual 320mm radials (with new cartridges in - I put Tuono V4R forks on my bike), convert to 17s front and rear, carbon front fender, long travel rear shocks to lift the ass end, 2-into-1 exhaust, make an oil tank out of a tracker-style seat pan to open it up and lift the seating position, rearsets of some kind, chain conversion, and a set of dirt or Clubman bars up top. Speedo and headlight got killed in the wreck, so I was gonna make a number plate for the front and integrate a Hella low beam projector and a small LED light bar for a high beam. Do bar-end turn signals up front, and make a nifty integrated setup in the rear for turn/tail/brake. No idea how much weight I'd be taking off the thing but I know the stock front wheel on my Priller is noticably lighter than the mags that came on the Sporty factory. Would be cool to get a before/after wet weight rating on it.

Here in South Africa I am building a Sportster 1200 with a Modern GSX-R upside-down fork conversion along with 6 pot Tokico brakes and aluminum rims.. thought I was being crazy doing it.. hell you doing it makes me love the conversion just that much more..weight saving, handling aswell as better stopping. I like old bike , My dad is the first and only owner of a 1976 honda 750 4 cylinder in line and 1 carburettor per cylinder .
Bike is fucking fast and we just have to rebuild the engine last year .

There’s actually some class action lawsuits going on regarding the death wobble due to the rubber mounts.
It’s shocking that they never corrected it, or had a recall on the mounts, because it’s thrown a lot of people off their bikes at speed.
They just flat out denied the problem even existed until they retired the dyna chassis, then mysteriously went back to a solid mount on the 2018’s, and used a counterbalance to the M8 to cut down on vibration instead.
